--- What a book.

I didn't get it the first time I read it. I wasn't into metaphysics and spirituality back then. Now that I am, I guess I'm ripe for the message - WHAT a book. A heart-centred, but most of all POWERFUL look at manifesting wealth. Every word is pefectly placed, crammed with value. I love it. Check it out.

I love the book too. My sister gave it to me in the early '80's when I was in my early 20's and although I got a lot out of it on a superficial level, it was only about 5 or 6 years ago that the "true" message really sunk in, when I started understanding the whole loa concept and started examining my life and how loa had worked for me without my realising what it was. The whole idea that you can literally think and achieve your dreams financially or otherwise is something that is not very easy to come to terms with unless you have some kind of "aha" moment.

That's interesting and almost... comforting to hear. Like the Universe is saying "you're both on the right track" or something I guess.

We can use this thread for thoughts about the book as we go through it

Yeah it's cool how this book has like these two levels. I really like that - because it's like the message breaks through when you're actually ready to read it. Other times you get stuff like "The Secret" which seems just to draw people into foolish hopes of a magical cure, and it's not that great at really transforming them IMO. And LoA is all about transformation - it's alchemy, transmute yourself, you are the philosopher's stone, and your life situations turn to gold - WHEN you have turned your own heart into a jewel. No easy way out.

I like it, it's starting to be a fun journey. I want to make myself a beautiful philosopher's stone and really begin to understand how I affect and create the world around me. It's all tied in, your relation with God, your self understanding, your love, your desire to serve the world - the more you develop internally the more powerful you become. You can grow in power by focusing on power but you can't do that by neglecting truth and love. Am I right?

A question - it's been six years, what sort of results have you gained? If I can ask that

Apparently we must be on the same vibrational alignment.

I actually sat down to read it slowly, a chapter a day. And there are some phenomenal ideas expressed in that brilliant piece of writing.

I just take things from there and synthesize them with other information ive learned.

This is why absolutely anything is possible.

1. Everything you observe is an illusion created by consciousness, all of this matter is created by thought. This is scientifically proven btw.

2. Since everything is all energy, with infinite possibilities we can drop our doubt and have total faith that what we see in our mind is as real as what we see, it just takes time to organize itself into physical structures.
