Default Weird manifestations/coincidences

Yesterday, I was backing out of a parking spot and instead of waiting for me this guy speeds up and swerves to get around me (it kind of agitated me) so I blurt out... Man! some people just need to be punched in the face.

So this morning on my facebook wall is this: (by two different people)

Quote:
Please copy and paste this on your status if you know someone who needs a punch in the face. People who need a punch in the face affect the lives of many. There is still no known cure for someone who deserves a punch in the face, except a punch in the face, but we can raise awareness.
and this

Quote:
...some people would truly benefit from a serious punch in the face
How fantastic!!! Ah, good times, good times.... Please post yours!

Wow, that's a good one!

My best one recently was when my friend Bob and I had just watched a football game and The Terminator movie came on. We decided to keep it on because it's one of my very favorite movies and I hadn't seen it in years. Early on, he says, "What's her name again?" and I said, "Linda . . . ." but I couldn't think of her last name. He came up with it. "Hamilton." "Yeah!" "Was she ever married to George Hamilton?" "I don't think so."

About a minute later the cat came in the living room and started sniffing around one of the bookshelves that he'd never shown an interest in during the months he's lived here. He reached up and pulled off my dad's watch from a little place where I keep some mementos of him. I didn't want the cat to start playing with the watch so I went and picked it up, glancing at the front of it. The brand name is Hamilton.

Default I got a good one.

So I arrive home, and my man is making dinner, Spag bol. We have a black labrador.

So his sister rings and says watch this dog programme it is really funny. So we turn it on, and the guy in it is making spag bol and they have a black labrador. I comment to my partner and look to giving the last of my spag bol to my black labrador.

My partner says don't, or he'll **** through the eye of a needle. (Diarrhoe).

I cracked up, 5 mins later me and my partner were on the toilet with diarrhoe. And he hadn't eaten any dinner. I knew that then all thoughts I had with emotion manifested straight away so my own fault for laughing.

Anyway I got loads of these things happen, will post some more shortly.

Ooh, a stories thread?

Last night I was studying and was really hungry and thought "I'm really hungry, wish I could have some food!" I had already forgotten it when, a few minutes later, my roommate came into the study room and said "hey, I saw some random people in the kitchen and they wanted to know if we had any vegetable oil to make brownies, can they use yours? They'll bring us some when it's done," so of course I said yes and got brownies a short while later. Then, the same thing happened this morning (with different people cooking) except with French toast and syrup.

Default Another "punch in the face" incident !!!

.
Hi Lil Chris,

I must tell you this story……..

Late last night I read your post with the “punch in the face” story and then I went to bed thinking about it.

Then this morning I woke up, went into another room, and my wife, who was there reading an email she'd received, suddenly blurts out,

“I feel like punching him in the face!”

This was the first statement I heard in the day and, needless to say, it really startled me... not just because of the coincidence (w/your story) but because she usually doesn’t make statements like that (English is not her first language and she usually doesn’t use these types of expressions). I was astounded!

----------------
Here are some thoughts I've had about this…..

Sometimes I find it useful (or interesting) to try to find a meaning in these types of “coincidences”, especially when they’re so startling, and when they don’t seem related to anything I’m manifesting or that I’ve intended.

So I asked myself: What could be the meaning in this?

I came up with two takes:

1) It helped spur me to start posting here again (I’ve been away for a while and last night was the first time I checked the forum in a few weeks and started thinking about posting again…)

2) It made me really take notice of how strongly my wife feels about this person and so I changed my plans to spend time listening to her and helping her respond to the email.

----
Sometimes coincidences/manifestations are trivial and meaningless. But sometimes, especially when they stand out, I find it interesting exploring what meaning they may have.
.

A while back (couple of years maybe) I was shopping with my sister and she bought a coat I liked. Last week she came over and was wearing it and I thought to myself: "I should have bought one when she did."
Saturday morning I was going to visit my mother, take her on some errands etc. Friday night I do my "I will have a pleasant surprise tomorrow" intention meditation. So I get to my Mom's on Saturday morning and she tells me she was cleaning out her closets and found a coat she never wore and did I want it. You guessed it - the EXACT same coat!!

An addendum to my post # 5 above:

Sometimes connecting the dots to find meaning in surprise syncs (or to find links w/your life) is part of the LOA adventure. We're playwrights writing our life stories as we go along.

Luv everyone's stories here!

(See the edited version of my post # 5 above. One of my roles is being an editor, so I just had to clean up the superfluous wordiness!)

Default more thoughts on coincidences and LOA

.

On a more minor scale, coincidences and syncs happen to me all the time. I generally take them for granted except for the startling ones… though I heed all of them and I'm always alert for them and for any "messages" they may contain.

----
- What does it take to notice them (especially the more subtle ones)?

It takes staying as aware as possible as much of the time as possible.
It takes belief in LOA "magic" (and the syncs that are part of that)
It takes an intention to keep a part of your awareness on "automatic lookout" to catch any LOA/sync evidence (and, the more you catch, heed, and use, the more your LOA-power increases).

...
Another sync/coincidence that just happened to me (and I have many of these types happen all the time). This may illustrate the more "ordinary" type that is sometimes easily missed….

After writing my post above in which I used the word "luv", I started wondering if that's a word that's commonly known or used. I've been using it since way back in emails to friends and dear ones, etc. (as in "Luv 'ya…") but wasn't sure if it was widely accepted.

Then I go for a short walk in the rural town where I was, and I see a license plate with the word "luv"... and a little bit after I see the word in a store sign. So the Universe answered me!

It's like this elegant feedback system (or "help/advice line) going on all the time.

Expect magic and stay aware, and the Universe will constantly amaze you!

I finally let go today, on a manifestation that I had been a little too specific with (the how) thanks to the advice of the master (I give credit where it's due) and let's just say I've had more than one amazing synchronicity where it's concerned...gotta love it

I was with my brother-in-law watching TV and I asked him if he has seen Twelve Angry men. He said no, and then we talked a little bit about it. Next night, we were again watching the TV and guess which movie came on?

@Cacheborn:
Like you, the movie/tv thing happens very often for me. It used to take a few days but lately, they'll come on within hours or even minutes sometimes!

My most recent cool manifestation (just yesterday) was a saxaphone. Around the first week in January, my husband said he thought I should try to play sax. Long ago, I played clarinet and they are similar so it probably would be easier for me to learn it than guitar or keyboard (which I have tried with little success in the past). I thought it sounded like a good idea so before we left for CGW#2, we looked on Craig's List and saw one. We left a message for the guy, didn't hear back so we went to Vegas and "forgot about it". Last week, my boss asked me to interview my replacement (as I just quit my job and I'm still patting myself on the back for it, lol). I casually mentioned to her that I was going to take up sax but I needed to find one for a reasonable price. Well, it "just so happened" that she had one and said she'd give it to me because she wanted it to be played and have a good home. Yesterday, she came in for her pre-employment drug screen and brought it to me! FREE, baby! It is a little old but seems to play just fine. Perfect for my needs! And, the most amusing part is that I've quit my job and have naturally experienced some fear about it as I move toward music and singing. So who brings me my "new" sax? My replacement! I just had to laugh. The universe thinks it's so funny...I guess I have to agree!

Ok this may be sort of a gross one, but it's the most recent one of mine, so I'm going to post it! I apologize in advance...

Before I moved into the house I live in, I lived in another house (obviously) that had really shoddy plumbing. Our toilet used to get clogged and stopped up all the time, and for no reason, really. It was the most annoying thing ever.

I've lived in my current house about a year and a half, and 2 days ago I randomly thought, "wow, our toilet has never stopped up here. Good thing too, since we don't have a plunger." So guess what happened?? Yesterday morning I flushed the toilet and it totally started backing up! Which is weird, because there was no reason for it to, if you know what I mean. (Gross, but true!) And of course, I didn't have a plunger.

I couldn't help but laugh and literally say out loud, "what did you expect? You manifested this yesterday!" And then I ran to the store to get a plunger. And that's my story.

Like I wrote in the other thread. These things are... no, I won't state nothing as THE TRUTH, I just want to give you an idea.

So, I can be wrong, but these little manifestations can be things you create for yourself in order to slightly change your beliefs, and make the space for LoA.

You can't manifest things like 100 million dollars yet, because.... think about this :

You're sitting there, trying to manifest things with LoA. You look out the window, looking at a tree and - just for fun - intend that tree to burn up. How would you feel if that tree'd immediately catch on fire. You would know that it wasn't an accident, you intended it, and it happened.

It'd be SCARY AS HELL, wouldn't it? You would immediately know that life/universe/reality is nothing, nothing like you knew before. That'd be hell of a scary place to be, wouldn't it?

So, your higher self (you) do these little manifestations in order to give yourself the truth in little pieces, which you can "survive".

thoughts?

I agree with this, in a way. But i dont understand what is scary about it. Shocking yes, but scary....why?

If what you intended to happen just happened.

If what you intended to happen just happened, that doesnt mean anything bad will happen (or even has to happen).
Look, I think about it in this way: Think about it deeply. If you'd able to burn a tree down only by intending it, what would that mean? It'd mean that YOU are the creator of your whole universe. Think about that deeply. You create everything, and everybody. You create your friends, your loved ones, everybody you LOVE. And that means they don't exist as a conscious, living (living like you) entities. And that would mean you are ALONE.

Completely alone.

Your mother, your father, you loved one, doesn't exist. You just create them.

Isn't it scary to be alone? Everybody wants to be god, but who wants to be alone? But God is alone.

Right now, I'm at a point where I could believe I can create everything, but I'm not sure I want to be alone. And after it all, I can understand why my desires haven't manifested.

I guess i was never scared of being alone. And they exist because i created them. All because you create them, doesnt mean theyre not real. But, they are only as real as you permit them.

aha. I guess this is the point where we're different. My parents divorced early, I had a hard childhood, and emotionally, I had to stand on my own feet early. I always been a lil'bit alone.

Maybe this is why I'm not that comfortable with being alone, who knows.

thank you! I guess you're right. If we'd talk to each other in personal, if you'd see me, see my face, you would'nt tell that I'm sad or anything. As a person, I'm done with my past, those things don't hurt me anymore.

But here, we talk about deep things, and even I don't know i those things till effect me or not. funny isn't it?

So, your higher self (you) do these little manifestations in order to give yourself the truth in little pieces, which you can "survive".

thoughts?
The interesting thing is, I've been there. I was in a place where my thoughts would instantly manifest, one would think "Hey this is awesome", but it was so sudden and such a contrast from what I was normally experiencing, that it was quite scary (I didn't even think of burning a tree down though). I kept thinking somethings wrong, somethings changed, what's going on here. I do want to get back there to that state, knowing what I know now. At the time I'd never heard of LOA or I/M, so it was a total shock to me. I thought I was going crazy, literally...

I do agree with your point though, baby steps to realign, so it's not so shocking to the system or to the construct of reality, but I will say it's entirely possible to achieve it very quickly (even by accident).

I would interested in hearing more about this experience you had of instant manifestation. What were the circumstances (if you don't mind)?

hi

well my story isnt "weird" but it is a synch itself

i wanted to share this sooner but seems that this thread is perfect for it.

So...since many time that ive been "searching" for the "right" thing for me in terms of professional path.

but i was never that girl who always knew what to do when growing up ( the one i remember most was me with 12yr old saying i wanted to be a Princess )but as i m not part of Royalty i decided after that i needed to have a pratical approach

time passed by and i did college,i picked a random place to go to,according to the grades i had and did it easily but with no passion.

so,last year in summer vacation i started watching stacy london and clinton kelly on TLC and something rang a bell on me:i thought why not this?why not be an image consultant?

here in my country everthing comes years after it is being done in other countries so in my researches,i didnt found any place to take studies in it unless one specific that costs too much....

days later i was at home and receive an email from my brother´s gf about a free attending afternoon in a store with a school....imagine that...the same school i found on the internet

i went and it was spooky i absolutely loved it! and found out that even without having studies in the area,i manage to intuitively know what to do and say! the consultants there said that i knew many things and had the thing to be a good professional on it!

so that was it....im intending to actually attend to the school now

im working on my beliefs now.cause im still thinking about the money it costs and the money i dont have..

And that means they don't exist as a conscious, living (living like you) entities. And that would mean you are ALONE.
I just realized recently this is something that scares me about all of it too.

Doesn't it feel amazing when that happens? for me, songs and films are the easiest to manifest, maybe 'cos I enjoy them the most.

Great story about manifesting the sax. Way to go, Lady.

Yesterday, we went to the supermarket to get a few things. As we walked toward the cluster of shopping trolleys (carts), one of them rolled out and curved perfectly toward us, just as we got there. It was like invisible hands pulled it out and presented it to us. Weird, but cool. (Husband said, "Well, I guess that's the one we're meant to have!")
