but, it wasn't scary because of that idea that you are all alone if you're the only one creating. it was scary because i didn't think humans were supposed to be able to do what i did. and it sort of affected someone else (another aspect of self), and could have been so much worse. i thought there was no way the intention could manifest, that was why i used it. but then it did oh, and someone today mentioned punching someone in the face - i thought about this thread

The instant manifestations were more along the lines of manifesting synchronicities, but almost immediately (within minutes). I wasn't aware of manifesting "things" at the time, so I didn't try.

I have another weird one. Last week, my favorite professor brought her dog, an adorable daschund, to school. I met it when I went to her office hours. I remember thinking that I would love to dogsit for it. This morning, she sent out an email to our reading group asking whether anyone would be available to dogsit over spring break. For $600! Now let's see if I can manifest a fast reply from her so I can decide whether it's feasible for me or not. |

| very true. for me, there was quite a difference between theory and practice. at the time, i believed anything was possible, but this still shook my realty. i wasn't really ready for it, but on the other hand i must have been or it wouldn't have happened. maybe it's more accurate to say i didn't know i was ready for it. and in the end, it was good to have my reality shaken up like that, it led to other positive things. and i definitely learned the importance of focusing on what i actually want to experience!

I've posted this on the 'reality weirdness' thread but it fits in here, too... Last Friday I was a bit stressed out as I had just handed in my notice the day before but I eventually I managed to calm down, feeling quite spacy. I went to the employment agency and after filling in the usual forms a lady called me in to enter my data into their system. She was really nice. When I looked at her name tag it read "Mrs. Beauty" (in German, but it's a very unusual surname anyway). At the end I asked her how she had gotten her surname and she smiled and answered "Because I married Mr. Beauty". When I left it dawned on me that I must have been sitting in the same spot about two years earlier. She must have been entering my data at the time because I remembered that I had asked her exactly the same question and gotten exactly the same answer |

Resurrecting this thread because I've just made a connection! In the last few weeks, my eyebrows have needed plucking 2x/week instead of 1x/2 weeks (very annoying!), and today I looked in the mirror and realized I'm growing a mustache to rival that of a pubescent boy. Moral of the story: specificity is important. |

I've been doing serious thinking about redecorating my bedroom, with new everything lately. I've had my eye on a great bed I truly adore, it is everything I wanted, completely to my taste and vision. So glam and comfy and gorgeous.. I simply created the image of the most beautiful, comfy looking bed and soon after I found it had materialized in a furniture store I've always loved. The problem was always that I went to the website of the specific store and they never had details listed, or the whole range on show. It was more like a catalogue. You had to go into the store itself for details. Annoying. There was no notices saying the site was under construction or anything like that. And I'd frequented and admired the store for years, so I know it's always been this way. But last week some time, I said quietly and nonchalantly to myself "Surely they'll update this site soon, I'd really love to see the dimensions/price of this bed and the whole range" hahaha a week later they've redone their entire webpage layout, now with all items and details. Love it! |

I just posted this on my "The Specifics Are Driving Me Crazy" thread. I thought it would be appropriate to post it here too. Just another reason why I must be specific with what I intend..... A couple of months ago I had been thinking about how I wanted more romance in my life. How I wanted to feel good in receiving it and feel pretty as I basked in it. I asked for it and let it go. Never did I mention any of this to anyone including my partner. Over the weekend I received a gift from my love right before we had set out for a weekend out of town but not for romantic purposes. Not paying attention to the title of the gift he had purchased for me, I sprayed the scent on me and loved it. The perfume made me feel sexy and desirable but unfortunately we were in such a hurry to leave, I left it at home. I was trying to remember the name of this lovely perfume I was wearing but it wasn't until this morning back at home that I had the time to concentrate on my gift. a couple weeks ago i was telling my husband how my dad used to get me packs of football cards when i was really young, like maybe 3 or 4. and inside the package was a piece of very hard, sharp, pink gum with white powder on it and how it was kinda weird but i sorta wanted some of that gum, even though it sounds gross. ha ha. so anyway yesterday we went hiking at a state park, and when we were coming home i decided to stop at this small convenience store to get a drink. the store had not been remodeled since easily the early 80's, and besides the normal convenience store things they had... FOOTBALL CARDS, lol. all these packs of extremely ancient football cards from the early 80's....pretty weird right? although the gum was mostly dust at this late date. |

Hello am new to this site. In fact I found it during a Google search, wondering if meditations could lead to coincidences. So my first question to all that have posted on this thread is: do you all meditate? I have been doing so for quite a while but not until recrntly have I really made it daily, then started to notice some coincidences, like thinking of someone and the phone ringing. But yesterday I got into my car and nearly touched a horrible hairy huntsman (I am petrified by the way). So i started to wonder what that could mean as havd also had nightmares a cple of nights this week. I was on my way to take my child to kindy/nursery. So after being late as having to figure out how to drive car (by the way I flicked it eventually to the floor with a v long stick), I get there to find out the theme was spiders, and my daughter presented me with a craft spider when I picked her up! Thought it was strange snd am convinced I manifested the huntsman! The question is why? I wasn't aware I was thinking of one either (well not recently anyway). I did think it would be so that my daughter would remember her class on spiders as was learning about the venemous red back! I don't know. Later that night I said 'oh daddys late' only for him to literally walk in then! Also text a friend to find shd was in Emergency. This is all new to me and quite exciting, but I don't want to manifest anymore spiders, just trying to figure it all out. Also I have been trying to manifest something for months which isn't happening, in fact I haven't successfullt intentionally manifested yet..any advice? Thanks, look forward to being a member of this forum.

Well today I went to the park and, inspired by one of the posts I read recently on here (think it was the 30 days manifestation one) I decided to manifest something interesting. Well I got talking to a guy, which isn't that usual at the park, and turns out we went to the same uni- bit different as that uni is on the other side of the world in a small city. That encounter wouldn't be that unusual normally, but seeing as I'd sent the request out only minutes earlier I thought it was kind of cool. |

Two weeks ago we brought a new washing machine. The old one was put in the back garden untill i could get someone to collect it. Anyway the other day i went on my laptop, to find out if our local incinerator took washing machines, as i know they take refrigerators.I had just got on the site and was trying to get info ,when i heard a man shout, out the back.I went outside and there is this man looking over the garden wall.Turns out he was collecting old scrap metal and such, and was willing to take away the washing machine for scrap. Job done! |

Today I went to pick up my daughter from school and saw that she was standing with her glasses in her hands, fiddling with them. When she got in the car I asked what happened and she said, "I don't know. They just fell apart." I had a look and saw that they had, indeed, fallen apart, but figured my husband could fix them (he did). She seemed worried that she'd get in trouble, but I said, "Hey, these things happen. My glasses sometimes fall apart and the lens just drops right out, you know?" Then the lens dropped out of my glasses, not even thirty seconds later. Kinda freaked me out (and I had to drive home with one eye shut because trying to see with the non-corrected eye AND the corrected one was maddening!), but I am grateful for the exquisite responsiveness of my reality. (And I fixed my own glasses when I got home; all it took was a small screwdriver, which I have in my desk drawer). |
