Hello, continuing with Part Seventeen...

#27 Keep a thought in mind and it will become tangible. Obvious to anyone who has practiced IM.

#28 You may be pursuing the wrong types of things. An instance given is fame instead of honor. Riches instead of wealth. This makes sense. We have to define the higher principles and try to attain them, not the temporary and often useless lower standards.

#29 Wealth and standing must be earned or it will turn to ashes. You get what you give. The law of compensation.

I think I will try to find the other laws connected with IM. I know they are outlined in the book, but I don't think I've seen the entire list in one place yet.

I typed the above post about 1.5 hours ago and then went in search of the other laws. I found numerous interesting things but in the end, found what is called "the 11 forgotten laws". Here they are according to a website quoting Bob Proctor:

Law of Thinking - Whatever you hold in your mind, in a habitual way, becomes your reality in time.

Law of Supply - You want to increase your own share. Greed not avarice. Greed is thought to be evil in our society but if you want more with no ill will towards others, it is greed. Avarice is when you set out to intentionally deny someone else of something you want.

Law of Attraction - The more you attract, the greater the number of things you can attract. Also, IMO, how you treat others and treat life is what you get back, in other words karma.

Law of Receiving - Give to the fullest extent so that you can receive to the fullest extent.

Law of Increase - the more you invest, the more you grow and the greater your gains

Law of Compensation - what you get is the result of the effort you put out there

Law of Non-Resistance - Peace, harmony & joy require that you ARE peace, harmony & joy. Do not struggle.

Law of Forgiveness - remember your past experiences, but don't live there. Let go of the past.

Law of Sacrifice - Everythiing has a price, are you willing to pay it? You must earn your manifestations.

Law of Obedience - Work with the laws and they will reward you, work against them and you will pay the price.

Law of Success - Whatever you do is going to work so choose wisely what you want to do. You will succeed even if it means you are succeeding at failing.

Most have only heard of the Law of Attraction but it requires all of the laws to make intentions reality. I'm glad I looked these up because they spell out my beliefs more fully and make more sense than just the Law of Attraction alone.

#30 We should not be trying to gain money and symbols but rather the true source of power, power of the mind.

#31 Thought can be turned inward to help us understand and command that which we need.

#32 The spirit of a thing is the thing. The form is the manifestation of the spirit.

#33- #36 The exercise is to relax and concentrate on purpose. No conscious effort, just concentrating on what is wanted. "To eliminate fear, concentrate on courage." " to eliminate lack, concentrate on abundance." "to eliminate disease, concentrate on health."

Was able to meditate for a good period of time today. Actually had some alone time which I do not have very often. Not that I mind. I still meditate when others are here, it just takes more concentration than when I'm alone.

Last point in this chapter: think of an ideal as if it already exists.

I did get a lot out of this chapter. And things are starting to change, things are going well. Everything is coming together and I am happy that the stresses of the past couple of months are easing. I am looking forward to the next chapter.

Who would have thought it would take me this long to get through this book lol. But I would rather study it, get to know it and understand it rather than just flying through. Some lessons need to be lived to be learned. The book always calls me back when it is time for the next step.

It's been a long time. I started reading the next chapter and was not enjoying the content at all. I stopped coming to Pavlinaville at all. I needed a break and I feel refreshed and ready to start at it again. Some things are better, such as money, and some things I really need to work on. Procrastination, messiness, attitude (sometimes). I've pushed some of my friends away, I guess because every time I made friends, they would move away and it was very upsetting. I am starting over again with the friend making and I have been in touch with some of the friends that moved away also.

I will try reading the next chapter again and if it is something that I still cannot fathom or want to understand atm, then I will move on to the next chapter. Make sense??

I seem to have lost my book again, sigh.... I'm sure it will show up this weekend.

I've been thinking about the me that started this journey and the me that I am now and I like the changes that I've been through (mostly).

1000% more confident of myself as a woman
Not worried about what others think, they can take me, or leave me
Able to cry or not by my own choice
Not so attached to the past
Able to meditate just about anywhere
MUCH more peaceful
Able to express my feelings and be much more genuine

Overall, a more caring and rounded person who can handle social situations without my previous awkwardness. I've learned a LOT in the last 1-2 years. Looking forward to seeing what is next!!!
