I was hoping you guys could help me out with phrasing my intention. I want to win a pair of concert tickets for a show which is the day before my birthday. Already signed up to win the tickets and put some good thoughts towards it. But, when I think about it in general I almost feel like I am being selfish to want to manifest this for myself. I don't want to block my good intentions with doubt.

Any thoughts?

Just have the intention to *go to the concert.* You could unexpectedly come across money to buy the tickets, or a friend may buy tickets for you. Who knows. Since the real intention is to go to the concert, that's what you should focus on, and not limit *how* you'll get there.

Well, I took your advice and stated my intent to "go to the concert". I got home from work and found a note from my apartment complex letting me know my rent for next month will be credited $612 due to a fire that had occured back in the fall and I could not live in my apartment for 3 weeks.

Granted, I did write them a letter requesting the refund. But, I sure did not expect it right then. I now have the money to go to the concert!

You are 100% correct on that judge45. I had forgotten that basic rule and just started worrying about things.
