Default A Question

I have a quick question about the Law of Attraction.

I understand from several explanations on this forum that all things, both good and bad, happen because you intend them to (whether or not you're consciously aware of intending said occurrences). But, what happens if you've already intended so much 'bad' into being that there's no turning back?

Let me pose an example. Let's say someone suffers massive head trauma causing severe brain damage, which, in turn, causes severe mental disabilities. Based on the Law of Attraction, the person involved intended for said event to occur. However, the Law of Attraction also states that we can intend whatever we want into our lives no matter what the circumstance. However, would the person who has intended so much 'bad' into being (via disability by brain damage) truly be able to intend everything he or she desires into being after losing significant mental capacity? To take the hypothetical to its limit, what if said person no longer has the mental capacity to even 'intend'. In this case, would the Law of Attraction even still apply?

There seems to be some huge gaping holes in LoA as in pretty much the whole concept of self/god/religion/universe/being/etc

There really is no one answer.

Why would anyone intend to get a brain injury?

If you go down that road and believe everything is an intention, then why did you get killed when you had everything to live for or why was your child murdered?

It's supposed to be some kind of growth experience having to experience sheer agony?

No body really has the right/real/true answer, I think you have to take what is presented, what you discover and what you feel comfortable with.

Sometimes I consider that our entire earthly existance is just a game we're playing out there in the ether.

Maybe we're all God's just having some fun, maybe everything is just a way to enjoy the game.

Even the terrible stuff is just a part of the game.

You die, you exit the game and realise it was just you choosing to be in the game, the terror, the joy, the love, just all part of the experience.

Wasn't really that important, didn't really matter.

150,000 people died today and pretty much everyday, so is life really that important? Why is your life so important?

Doesn't really answer your question about the LoA, but who really can?

HTH

Default Intending is a concious act

No one would intend a bad thing happening to them,(as in the brain injury). Intentions are a function of conciously utilizing the LOA. However; inadvertanly, in ignrance many attract very bad things by negative thoughts, as in constanlty worrying about disease, disability, famine, making ends meet, worry about crime, and feeling unsafe, and vulnerable.

These things are done by default, because of an ignorance concerning the LOA. "My people perish, through ignorance", The Bible. "This means everlasting life, there taking in knowledge of your ways.", The Bible.

Bob Proctor said it right in the secret dvd. He used the analogy of electricity, and how we enjoy the benefits of it, and we also understand, "You can cook a mans dinner with electricity, and you can also cook the man". He was obviously referring to the dangers of the LOA, when we go through our lives with a negative attitude combined with an ignorance of the Law. We can do ourselves great damage.
So it's best to stay on the positive, feeling good side of the LOA, otherwise it comes across our path like the wrath of God.
