Mounds, if see that baby and your sister as aspects of my consciousness, I have more access to compassion, understanding and generosity than if I see them as separate and unrelated creatures from "Angela." SR isn't for being unsympathetic and heartless, although there are some avatars who do use it that way. It's just a lens, and looking through it, you'll see reality as a reflection of what you are being. I'm sorry about your hurt in this discussion, and much love to your sister. |

I havn't been there myself but have seen enough documentaries and know friends who have been to realize that there is massive poverty in this world and that it is REAL.

Through a lens of SR, to me the aspects of my reality are presentations of something to be dealt with. Dismissing an aspect of my reality, like a hurting person, is just like dismissing a toothache or a bleeding wound -- if it's arising in my reality, there's something that could use some resolving. Sometimes I create aspects that are more "urgent" than others -- the consequences appear more dire. And sometimes I recognize that I don't currently have the resources to effectively resolve it in the "external" world yet, and shifting my focus to where it can be more effectively shone is my best bet. If I continually suppress something uncomfortable that occurs, and I dismiss my responsibility for it, chances are the consequences of it will knock on my door more loudly until I take it on. Resolution of an uncomfortable aspect of reality begins with looking at who I am being. When I resolve the inner conflict, I suddenly have so much more choice and opportunity in resolving the "outer" conflict -- and sometimes the "outer" conflict just disappears.

The stuff I underlined pose a question though if you bare with me. I am myself, but I am not the only one who influences reality world-wide (in the context of SR) because you are YOU, and YOU think differently to me. So why do YOU allow this suffering to happen and for the corrupt governments (which is the real reason of it IMO) to have control?? THAT'S the point I don't get. The government folk are their own people and have their own identity/mind, I don't control their outcomes. Do you understand my point?

This is how the outer state reflects the inner state. At any given point in what we call "time", there are any number of perceived negative and perceived positive events going on all over the world (and universe). They are there, they exist. All sorts of different experiences are enfolded within the universal mind (including yours). But it is your personal ego consciousness that determines which particular aspects of this hodge podge of experiencial nexi resonate and interact with you. As above, so below. As within, so without. Reality is holographic, meaning, it has a "whole in every part" nature. That which you see out there, is always a vibrational match to what you are feeling inside yourself.

But there must be a lot of conflict going on and crossed wires due to all the positive consciousness from one person then the negative from the other? But it's clear that my own experiences and impacts in my life and 'created' or attracted by me. It's like a web. Thanks.

What is "negative" and what is "positive" is really all a matter of perception. If your consciousness is of peace, well being, and joy, you will continue to attract experiences in your life that reflect that. If you are unhappy, frustrated, and depressed, your life experiences will also come to reflect and perpetuate that. Two people can be walking down the same street and experience things completely differently. So "conflict" is only experienced when there is conflict within.
