Addressing "Monkey's Paw" fear

Apologies if this topic has been done before...I went pretty deep into the back pages of this forum, but I can only go so far without finding anything

One of my biggest mental hurdles with starting LOA is the Monkey's Paw effect. This especially cramps me up when I want to manifest money, or a situation that will lead to increased financial wealth. I can't shake the idea that a big cheque may result from life insurance after the death of a loved one. That type of thing. I feel like there exists a trickster force that likes to gives "slaps on the wrist" when someone gets too greedy or confident...

Anyway, I'm the barest of beginners right now, so the solution might be obvious to some of you practiced ones. Is there a way to safeguard against unintended negative repercussions?

Well, that's a question that probably has many answers and I think most of us here have thought about it at some point.

Most simply, I would say that when you set your intention be clear that you would like a large sum of money to come to you in an effortless way that is beneficial to all and harms no one.

A little more complex but worth thinking about: Do you really want a large sum of money or is what you're looking for the FEELING behind what having the large sum of money would give you: peace, relief, purpose, freedom, etc. or whatever it represents to you. You don't necessarily need the huge sum of money to get these feelings, you can focus on getting there in other ways.

If you search on You Tube for Bashar, there is a clip that talks about abundance that was helpful to me. Bashar says that abundance is simply the ability to do what you need to do, when you need to do it. Since trying to focus on that and getting away from long term plans and "big picture" ideals, but focusing on what I need to do RIGHT NOW, I've found that I'm getting into a constant state of abundance without any huge sums of money coming to me. I simply have the ability to do what I need to do, when I need to do it. It's been incredibly freeing to think this way for me.

I wondered about a similar thing. If I manifest a tremendous amount of wealth, will someone else lose that wealth? Also, how would I explain it to Revenue Canada/IRS? They're sure to take notice if millions appeared in my account.

Yes. Don't worry about negative repercussions and they won't be attracted into your reality. Your consciousness is a magnet for experience. Whatever you become conscious of (or think about, in otherwords) will begin its movement into your conscious experience of reality.

First of all, that is certainly a way it could manifest if you were worried about that. Secondly, it doesn't mean it necessarily WILL manifest that way.

But, if you question is: can I take resources away that were originally intended for somebody else? The answer is no. Metaphysically speaking, abundance is like love. When you give love away, does it mean you have less love now? No. It expands in direct proportion to how much you give away.

Similarly, you cannot be so abundant as to deprive others of their rightful abundance. The nature of reality is such, that the pie of abundance expands in direct proportion to the vibrational requests of all those who desire it and come into alignment with it.

Also, don't worry about the IRS, the money is most likely not going to mysteriously appear in your bank account abracadabra style. Your consciousness, when aligned with abundance, will manifest that abundance through a logically plausible avenue. The rules of reality generally don't go all "willy nilly" unless at a very deep level of your being, you can subconsciously accept that.
