When you have a goal, something that you would want the Law of Attraction to attract to your life, do you write them down? I think visualizing is important, but I think its even more powerful to write it down. Its more focused. Does anyone write their dreams down? What do you use? There is a great tool you can use for that - Dreaminder (http://www.dreaminder.com). Dreaminder allows you to write down your dreams (wishes to the universe) and send them to yourself in the future. This way you have the opportunity to compare the life you live with your dreams and see how far you’ve come. |

mashadar - I always write mine. I'm a very kinesthetic learner. And I have ADD. There's a LOT of stuff running through my head all day everyday. In school, writing and re-writing notes helped me to focus and to anchor the facts more firmly in my mind. Something about the direct physical connection traveling from the paper to the pen, through my fingers, up my arm, and into my brain helped make things stick. I find the same to be true of writing my intentions. I am able to state my intentions more clearly and maintain my focus. Plus the action of writing forces me to state my intention as I truly desire it to be. I use a bound notebook of paper with a "good hand" and a smoothly flowing pen. I like the way it feels and the physical action of forming and reading the words helps to make the intention real.

I find writing things down often helps me to focus. I don't do it all the time. I've learned that for me, when the idea of writing something down - whether it's my intentions, my dreams, scripting my future - when the idea of writing it down feels good to me, I should do it. And when it doesn't call to me, I shouldn't force myself to write simply because it's something that I must do. If you had asked me last month whether I write things down, I would have said, "No, not much anymore." Ask me now, though, and I'll tell you I do it every morning Belle

I have found that keeping a private blog as a journal helps me...and by "private" I mean that I don't tell anyone it's there. It's just for me. Since it's not used for marketing purposes, you can simply create one on Blogger, and keep it as a diary. Every now and then I go back and see how much progress I have made. And since it's private, by using Blogger I'm ensuring that no one else on the Internet will ever find it!! |

I write mine on my blog too. All the time. Not just the goals, but the action plans, the progress, the strategy etc. I find the "Labels" function on Blogger very useful. For example, if I click on a label like "Running" or "Career" or "Kids", I instantly call up on my previous posts on each topic. I can then quickly see how much (or how little) progress I've been making, over any given period of time. |
