Hi Im new here. I have been consciously using LOA for a couple of years (but was doing it without any knowledge that it had a name for longer- I have always written down things I wanted and read the list regularly, then stood back in amazement when things came into my life- sometimes in very spooky ways!!) The situation I have is I have recieved a job offer for a lot of money, which is exactly what I have asked for- the thing is it is in Southern Afghanistan!! I have had this intention for a few months, but the other day while driving to work I felt very 'in tune' or connected if you like. I asked for a clear sign and that I was grateful for my desires already being manifested. An hour and a half later I got a call out of the blue from a recruitment company who had gotten my number from someone I worked with and hadn't seen or heard from in over 6 years!!! Ive had 2 interviews and think I have got the job! Do I take this as that is what the universe has for me and will be bring me back safe or what- my intuition hasnt been tested to this extreme for some time and Im getting slightly mixed messages although I am pretty happy to go, its just the danger which I havent been around for a few years now!! Hope someone can give me a bit of help really! Thanks |

While I can't claim any interesting experience/story.. the truth is if you go somewhere and it doesn't matter where.. if you keep your vibration tuned and even remove the fear of death.. you would be the one and only person that came out of a earthquake without a scratch.. if the whole country was to be nuked you would be called away suddenly etc. Again this idea goes on the fact that your keeping your vibration up and that you are who you want to be.. a lot of us would have some expectations.. as you do.. that Afghanistan is a low vibration place (it can't all be I would say if your excited to go.. you should follow your energy.. |

That was very much the kind of confirmation I think I needed. Thanks, although it is always easy to keep saying to ourselves we know we control our own vibration it is helpful from time to time to have other people remind us. If I do get the job I am going to take it and enjoy the adventure! Thanks for your input! |

Bangermilk, gosh, I'm just in the same situation as you are now... I was asking for something and finally I got it, but not exactly what I wanted (not 100%, although we never know where this might bring us)... I'm afraid I didn't have enough courage to just "jump" because my mind was overwelming trying to pursuade me it wasn't really logical, while my intuition told me to follow my "heart" (same old story - heart vs. mind), so I kinda let it flow... There is still a chance that I might still get it (it's also a job overseas) and I think I'll take it if the universe gives me another chance ...I had way too many synchronicities about this one, it's just only a question of courage to be able to trust and "jump" (Steve's new video helped me a lot considering being courageous).. And I do believe that Active life position attracts luck, so go for it and let us know how it's going! |

Analyse the same from different time and space perspective. Also check if that is align with your long term purpose so you will be persistent on following goals. and most importantly ask if this has Heart? if answer is NO then its wrong choice. Quote:

Thanks all, Im there now. Its not as bad as I expected to be here (from a comfort point of view) but there is danger here. I am actually quite scared of some of the things I will be doing, one of these is tomorrow morning and Im beating myself up for having some pretty bad thoughts. I really need to bring my vibration back up, Ive developed a strong fear of dying the last few days and need to do something that will remove this. I am going to do some tapping (in a room with 3 other people so will do it in the shower hehe). Does anyone have any good ideas on something that may help? Maybe mantras or something. I know there are thousands of people throughout the the world and throughout history that have lived healthily and happily through situations that would increase the exposure to certain fears and I owuld really like to emulate them. Also could anyone recommend some good books to read that could be 'warming' for someone in a place like this. (I would like to add that certain fears aside, I am very grateful for the opportunity to learn about myself and be in a good place to increase my intuition and emotional mastery) Thanks all |

Spend time everyday picturing yourself in yellow light. You could even picture yourself in the sun. When you start to feel scared shift your thoughts to picturing yourself wherever you are in yellow light. Also, picture your surroundings in yellow light, people you care about. The whole country, etc. Best wishes! |

Every person you meet on the street is you.. every angry caged bear If someone sends you hate or disgust.. just return back love.. remember the law of attraction can be seen as "what you put out is what you get back" so if you send out love.. all you get back is love.. Idea 2 - Grounding cord 1. Recognize when your mind is being bombarded with uncomfortable thoughts. This may sound like an obvious first step, but most people do not pay attention to what is going in their heads and continue to be affected by the chatter. There is a one-to-one relationship between mind and body, balance and imbalance. When the mind is noisy or uncertain, the body is tight and anxious. 2. Find a quiet, undisturbed place to sit down for a few moments. The front seat of your car or the bathroom stall at the office work great too. 3. Breathe. A simple, deep breath will begin to effortlessly change the direction of your thoughts. Your body will begin to quiet. One intentional breath will assist you in returning to a state of neutrality so the intrusive thoughts will begin to lose their grip on you. 4. Bring your attention to the lowest tip of your spine (your coccyx bone). Now is the time to pretend, imagine or make-believe as you did when you were a child. Imagine a line connecting the lower tip of your spine to the center of the earth (it’s not that far away). This line could be a beam of light, a tree trunk, a chain, a rope or any image that you find amusing. 5. Strongly secure the Grounding Line at both ends. You may visualize welding it, stapling it, tying it or any other method of attaching. 6. Now be aware of your feet on the ground. Create a sensation that your feet are cemented to the earth. Feel connected to the earth through your feet and the Grounding Line. Take a couple of breaths. Notice if you have a sense of feeling solid, or taller, or more certain about yourself. Notice if your awareness has become more defined. 7. Pretend to widen your Grounding Line to a diameter of six to nine inches. You are creating a pathway through which the noise will soon be leaving. 8. Give the instruction to this Grounding Line to become magnetic. You also might pretend there is a switch or handle near the lower tip of your spine that when flipped, will activate the line. When activated, the Grounding Line will automatically begin to magnetically attract the unpleasant thoughts, physical sensations and emotions and draw them down, out of your space, into the earth. This step works best when you don’t try to make it happen. Rather, just allow it to do its job. 9. As you notice specific people, thoughts and concerns passing through your mind, simply grab them with your imaginary hand and toss them down your Grounding Line. These don’t belong to you and they will be much happier in their own heads. The Grounding Line will automatically do what it is programmed to do. You have to do nothing. Thanks so much people that has been very helpful, it got delayed till 2moro morning which I was pleased about. Not because I dont want to do it, just felt like I needed to clear myself a bit. In turn... Lamusa- I will use the yellow light thank you (in fact it reminds of some yellow sunglasses I had when working in Africa, we called them ''happy glasses'' cos they made everything seem jus that haha. Bananya- at first when everything became real ie contract arriving etc, I did feel a little anxious. No more the same with any decision that would change alot of how I live. Generally for the few weeks in between then and now Ive mostly been calm and grounded. A little excited and a little nervous but no extreme emotion. I have been very much more 'in the present' for a while now and whenever I felt fear, I just concentrate on my breathing allow myself to realise that all will be good. The Master- thanks again for your kind words and practical advice. I have done this already and it makes me feel very well.... grounded. I feel back in control of my emotions and mind, and youre right I did feel taller and much bigger. I will pratice this as often as I need. Thank you. PS While I was writing this someone brought me a map of the area I will be going to 2moro, it were shaded in yellow haha... brilliant!!! The other areas were shaded blue and green, hope theyre good colours to haha Thanks again all!! |
