Default Dreams as an I/M Tool

I think this may have been brought up before, perhaps even by me, but I am always wondering if dreams, lucid or otherwise, can be used to successfully manifest, and if so, how. For instance, if I develop the skill to 'program' my dreams prior to drifting off, and set up a repeating pattern, can this in turn leach into my waking reality?

You know what would be cool? Making a recording that says "You are having a lucid dream/I am having a lucid dream/this is a lucid dream/am I dreaming?/Is this all a dream?/Yes you are dreaming"

On a constant loop, listen to it while sleeping. You'd hear that message like 5 billion times during the course of one evening.

Why not, you can buy subliminal tapes that say nice things, why can't you make your own?

Oy, again with the "resonance" - I tried this once (and perhaps should try again)!!!

Sounds like fun. Maybe I'll actually do this. I've made affirmation recordings before but never anything to urge me to go lucid while dreaming.

If that stuff is ground into your skull you'd be bound to actually ask those questions, I would presume.

Ah! Instead of just asking myself if I am dreaming, I could urge myself to do my various favorite tests - light switches are a biggie for me, because they NEVER work in my dreams (this actually triggered a semi-lucid dream once - I even tried more than one switch to be sure)!

That sounds fun. Like a checklist, "now flip the switch!" "now jump in the air and see if you float!" "now make megan fox appear!"

That last one is more of a personal preference I guess.
