If you want your package to arrive at a certain day/month/year

This is how I see the whole LOA thing. I kind of see it as a postal service but working in the universe. You send out what you want, and you wait for your package to arrive. Now, what if I want it to arrive at a specific day, month, or year. I'm getting mixed messages, some say that you should wait while others say if you believe you can have it at a specific day/month/year, you can. I can see both sides working, for some reason I feel guilty making the universe give me my package at a certain time and I'm not sure why. I would like some re-assurance that it is alright to tell the universe when you want it to arrive.

it is okay to want it at a specific time. it worked for me, if i was doing it right.
its not really the 'universe' delivering to you, its your subconscious

i found that if i did not set a clearer date for it, it took a lot long to manifest. but for that work out you need to believe that it can manifest in a shorter time

It's my birthday on the 30th (yay!) There may be a postal strike on the 27th. I REALLY want to manifest that I still get my birthday presents on time that are coming to me (from New Zealand & Egypt - hooray!)

Yes, sometimes I feel I'm ready to get something I want at a specific date. Other times I want something, but I can wait. Like the other day, I have been wanting to buy a beauty product and it was like 5-6 months ago but I had moved on. Last week my mom bought the product and I wasn't sure if I really wanted it anymore but I accepted it.

You can, and it's not wrong to do so, but you can't feel bad about it and have it happen. You can have anything you want, but you have to feel positive about it or you are attracting the opposite of what you want.

The reason people are normally discouraged from being excruciatingly specific is it tends to engender negative emotion to worry about all the specifics of exactly when it will show up. When people think about WHAT they want, they generally feel positive emotion, but when people start to consider the when and the how of their manifestation, they usually begin to feel discouraged.

It is really all dependent on how purely you can focus on what you want, while feeling positive expectant faith that your desires are being yielded to you. You can't have contradictory thought, and manifest what you want. They are two different radio stations. You'll get static, you see.

You want to focus as specifically as you can WHILE still feeling positive emotion.

That's so true..
What I have learnt about LOA so far is that you want smth and you feel excited when you think about having it, but the very next momemt your mind goes "but HOW the heck are you going to make this happen? I want this so much now, but there's no way I can have it now... when?? Are you sure you'll be happy if you actually get this?" and at least for me it goes over and over... As long as i just dream about it it feels great, but then if I start seeing opportunities I'm getting scared at making steps towards this dream... because it brings changes and we are afraid of unknown usually..

I do believe in LOA, coz I have many examples of it working in my life, but it usually works best when you forget about your "order"... the only thing is HOW TO FORGET ABOUT SOMETHING YOU REALLY WANT?
