| Hello all... Since I manifest my reality, that means tarot cards only come true because I BELIEVE that they do, correct? Please tell me so...I hate the cards I got, I fear them. But fearing them will only make matters worse, right? So what do you all suggest that I do? I only want to manifest what I want and apparently these cards are sabotaging me... Please help me! |

| If you fear the cards, get rid of them. But yes, the cards are just a tool. If you put fear energy into them while using them, you probably aren't connecting with a high source.

| Although I'm certainly no expert, I think that most of the time, if you clear your head properly before doing a reading, and in your reading, you ask about what the future will bring, then what the cards show is the future you've been creating with your thoughts. But the future is not writ in stone. You can still change it, by changing the thoughts you think henceforth. So the advice is still the same - choose your thoughts well!! |

| Hi, I have some experience on this subject, because I have had Tarot card readings done quite a bit over the years, most recently in November. For me, they have never been accurate, or they have been accurate in bits and pieces and one can only guess which bits and pieces are accurate until one has passed the point in time to reflect on events. All Tarot card readings have ever really served to do for me, especially this last time, is send me into desperation and fill me with fear and panic. I was told I was going to meet a new man and have a good relationship, while at the time I was in the middle of a relationship crisis and deeply involved with someone and the mere thought of engaging in another relationship made me physically ill! I indicated to the reader that that was not going to happen because I am not open to it, and I knew that it was never going to happen - I didn't want it. I can tell you with 110% certainty, the reader was wrong and no one can force me into having a relationship I don't want! The Tarot card reader also didn't "get" me or my emotional state or the emotional state of the person I was involved with. Other readings I have had in the past have never made 100% sense either, nor have the things predicted in them come true. If you are having a bad experience with Tarot or any other type of psychic readings, I recommend that you completely abandon all such things - that is what I have done now. It may only end up crippling you and your state of mind and may cause you to miss your chance to affect what happens in your life. Don't worry, you control yourself and your own will and actions and the cards don't have the last word on what happens in your life. |

| Tarot cards are symbols. It's up to the psychic/clairvoyant to interpret what they mean. Some interpret them wrong and some interpret them right. The really good psychics won't use tarot cards. It's far easier to just hear, see, know or feel the information rather than trying to make the cards fit the situation.

| It occurs to me that using tarot to peak at things is an expresion of doubt. Like, hmmm, I wonder if so and so is going to work out but I'm unsure so I'll pick some cards or have someone else pull some tarot cards for me. So any clear vibe you may have had about your goal is now clouded with doubt. At least many approach tarot readings in this way, not all (I suppose). Also, then, as the cards lay out a certain possiblity, one can get attachted to that outcome which can mess with your natural way of being, or rather may infact limit your possiblities becuase you are now looking for the cards to be right as part of a belief you are "holding". So I can understand why you describe that using the cards is sabotaging you. |

| I never understood tarot cards. Anyone who uses them or gets readings, seems to me to just want to hear what they want to hear. If they get a bad reading, they freak out and go around worrying. If they get a good reading they think everything's going to be great. Why not just decide what you want and what you want to believe and then just live with that. Why go and get someone else's opinion about how your life should be. It's your life, why give up some or all of your power to someone else. It's like people don't want to take responsibility, they want their lives to be controlled by something else, but they only agree to that when it's good. I'm not being personally critical, I just have trouble with the whole 'please tell me how my life will turn' business. Jeff |

| I see... You guys suggest I just drop my belief in them than...But what kind of belief would anyone suggest? One like "I control the Tarot" or something? Because I'm really trying to prevent my own disaster from happening...and I think I just need a little help is all. & thanks everyone for the suggestions and replies. |

| Use the cards, don't let them use you. That's my advice. If you are receiving contact from spirit, tune in directly, skip the tarot card middle man.

| Hi! I used to read Tarot cards and always thought of them as a language, just one way to communicate with my higher self - for myself or in the service of others. After I began to learn more about the law of attraction I couldn't give readings in the same way. I was so happy to have learned about another piece of the puzzle! I had always believed that readings were really an opportunity to read energy in the present. Which could always change from one Now moment to the next Now moment. I also believed that an individual could always choose to take a path that could re-order their reality. In fact, Gregg Braden's book, The Isaiah Effect, has a lot to say about this. Also his The Lost Mode of Prayer is one of the first law of attraction books (on tape for me) I ever learned of. Anyway, I made the decision to not do readings anymore (had been a consideration for a long time anyway). But before I stopped I incorporated basic deliberate creating teachings into my work - and my clients loved it. It might help to understand that cards cannot sabotage us and neither can a reading - but we certainly have the freedom to sabotage ourselves. With any thing or way we can Imagine. Including with the Tarot. And it can be unwise to ascribe power over our lives to any one thing or one form that appears to be outside of us. Because really, everything we think we see around us, people, things, etc., is only a reflection of an aspect of the only One of us that is really here. |
