 |  Be careful what you wish for!!!
I have been good at LOA or to be precise IM-ing with a little time delay  . Not that instantly but never the less good at it. I manifest what I want in life. Almost  But to cut to the chase I did a Ganesh mantra for 40 days and all the obstacles I had inner and outer fell. All the doors I wanted to be opened did so. I had a clear path to my goal. I got an almost free PR and marketing campaign in very much read periodicals, TV and radio. I furnished the office of my dreams. I was ready to go with a big bang. The first life coach around here. Then I started with a Lakshmi mantra ( I am doing it for 36 days now out of 90) for financial abundance, prosperity and good luck. But I wasn't specific that I want this new business of mine to flourish, have plenty of paying clients and etc.... I just wrote down financial freedom, security and the sum I wanted to make a every month. So the Universe gives me all of this but not in the packaging I wanted - my coaching business. I got a offer I can't turn down, if I am in my right mind, in a foreign bank. I resigned from a very high position in a bank just last year. Now in this global financial crisis trying to convince the Universe I didn't mean what I wrote would be a bit ... not very wise or serious. Not to say stupid. So dear fellow LOA practitioners. Be careful what you wish for or to be more precise - BE PRECISE!!! when formulating your wish and writing them down. You just might get what you wished for!

But I concentrated more on my dream home, a relatively small cottage in the country side and some more stuff I am not getting into  in detail now...

(meaning lots of money) Let me just say, from years and years of experience, the best way to manifest money is to come up with an idea, work that idea (with LOTS of details in your LifeVision), be very open to all possibilities that may twist the action plan up a bit...but still take action. So last week my team and I added up all the money that our clients have "manifested" via an action plan in their recorded LifeVision and the total exceeded $10 million dollars. I'd just like to put that up against the amount of money manifested without a concrete HOW. Maybe you should kick me into the goal setting forum rather than this one. Hope you'll still have me enough though many on this board don't agree with that philosophy. I LOVE "THE HOW"!!!

Annie, I see what you're saying and I agree with you partially, if running a marathon is your goal, perhaps you know of a marathon that pays really well. I haven't met to many people when asked "what do you do for a living", answer "Oh, I run marathons..." It seems there is two perspectives here, an action oriented and another that involves utilizing a "force" that brings these synchronicity type opportunities into play. That's fine if you're grounded in the former as neither path is incorrect. My interests lie in understanding the later. Perhaps you can share info on that?

A couple of years ago my family and I took a vacation. I kept telling myself how nice it would be to return to a bank account that had not been drained from the vacation. When we returned I was opening the mail from the week we had been gone and I did indeed receive a check. It was from a surgery center where my daughter had her tonsils out a year prior to this trip. The check was for $534.00. The letter enclosed with the check stated that it was a refund for an amount that we had paid and the insurance also paid. The mistake was found while the office was doing an end of the year analysis of their books. At that time my main source of information about the LOA was from The Secret. I did not intentionally tell myself that I would receive this money from "an unexpected check in the mail", but I believe that the thought was in the back of my mind from reading the book and watching the movie so many times. This incident, among many of the others I have posted was the beginning of my search for information about the LOA. It was that "Hmmm...really?" kind of a moment. I haven't looked back since !

From this point of view doing is overrated. I am not saying it is not necessary but only when it is "inspired action"! So just enjoy yourself and act when you really feel the urge to do it and it feels good and not a "must"!

I'll make this real short....especially since I didn't make it clear previously. My comment was an isolated comment on Lil Chris comment. I see that comment on here frequently (Only focus on the What, not the HOW) and it was one of those moment where I just wanted to say....I understand that in a case like THIS you don't always know the HOW and therefore you ONLY focus on the WHAT (maybe in tandem with the WHY). But you can't exclusively say that you NEVER focus on the HOW. That's all. (Hence the example of the marathon....You must have thought I was completely stupid if you thought the HOW to Maranik's situation was to run a marathon.) For the record...my earlier comment had NOTHING to do with Marinik's original post...it was just a random comment. I apologize for the confusion. Lil Chris...I'd be happy to answer your last few questions if I understood what you meant. So you can try again if you'd like. I'm just really confused about the 'former", "latter" and specifically what you're asking. Thanks

From where I stand the marathon is a paradigm for all actions that we need to take in order to accomplish something that requires some kind of physical activity. On the other hand there are things that just happen like magic. I do need to get up and study, I do need to "build" the house I surely can't do it out of my bead or by meditating. But if I study what I really love and want to, where I dreamed to go to school.... and I have to find the land where I want to have my house built and choose the layout...materials... colors... (But then again I could LOA an Ivy League College of my dreams.... and the Universe could send me after meditating on the perfect spot for my house somebody who needs to sell that land...the one of my dreams) Being in physical form to run a marathon at my age need a lot of very inspired doing, but only if it is my dream to run it.But if it is what I attracted by LOA consciously and really want it then the action is easy and logical.

Just a quick update. Not only did I get the offer and the job interview where I am going for final negotiations next week but now my PR campaign is kicking of in such a good way that it is unbelievable!! At first I was in either or frame of mind, now it is I can do both and be good at it!!!! And for the doers, I never did a thing except talk to my friends about my wishes. So they talked to other people they knew and I am having a 5 page interview in a great magazine and a TV interview hosted by a legend... YEEEEEE

I know you really need to be careful what you wish for.....Really careful. 4 days ago I recorded in my LifeVision that I would be a show host on a TV/Internet/Video show called Women's Information Network (The WIN) and i recorded it in detail. Just a few minutes ago everything lined up miraculously (a friend introduced me to a powerful man who introduced me to a powerful women who runs the show!) So now I host a show.....Ha! WOW, that sounds like a lot of work. :/ Next time I'm going to REALLY think about what I want!

Another thing just happened. I have been doing the Lakshmi mantra as you know for 57 days now. But I got into a financial pickle. Really was worried how I'm going to get out of it before the first money would arrive.. then out of the blue a bank called that I have some money on an account there I have totally forgoten about. Initially it wasn't a huge sum but my father bought some bonds he traded... to make a long story short and today it is a wonderful "little" sum that will save me from a headache!!!! PS: Even my father forgot about it!!! It is like finding money in your pocket when you are a student!!!!
