An update on my mantras and wishes/manifestations. The job turned out to be a dream job I love. My CEO is exactly the kind of person I wrote about in my journal 2 year ago - a great human being, somebody I can learn from every day with enormous wisdom. My coworkers are wonderful people I enjoy immensely as people and friends and a team I am building something great with. I still do some coaching and it's going great. Everything I wished for is there. Oh yes and I found the perfect piece of land for my dream home. |

One example of be careful what you wish for.  A few years ago, me and my sister were visiting a friend and stayed at her place for a few days. The last day of the visit was my sister's birthday. I was packing my things when she said that she wanted to get rid of me, so that my leaving would then be her birthday present or something. (We didn't get along very well back then as you can see.) As I walked toward the bus station, I made a phone call or sent an sms and was just putting my phone away when someone squeaked behind me. I looked around, saw a tram coming toward me and stopped the last second, not to get hit by it. If that someone hadn't got my attention, I wouldn't be here typing this right now. (In case she's reading this, THANK YOU!!!!!!!! *hugs*  )But that wasn't all. When I crossed a street again, a black car appeared from an unexpected place and I was lucky that I didn't get hit by it. Then I got on a bus and made her take that wish back because I thought the bus was gonna crash if I didn't. |

For me it is hard to believe that the Universe is "dumb" and that if you are not precise to the very last fiber it will manifest something faulty. That idea is stressful to me. It makes more sense to me and is a more relaxing idea to believe that if you get something that isn't exactly what you thought, maybe it is the Universe with more foresight than you have, pointing you in the direction best for you, that with your limited view (and our sometimes fickle ideals) can't see. I also agree with the poster that said "The package best for me"....that is the disclaimer on ALL my desires. I ofcourse have the details of how I want it, when, etc. BUT I also realize that sometimes what I think I want isn't all it is cracked up to be, so I preface my desires by stating I want what is BEST for me that I may not even be able to imagine. | |
