Well today on two separate occasions by two separate people (who do not know each other and have no means of contacting each other) I have been told to get a tiara Can't give too many details, but I told the two people - completely separately - about an incident which occurred and a mental change in myself and what I was thinking of doing about it. BOTH independently said "get a tiara"! Weird! Especially as (a) I would look daft in a tiara and (b) at this moment in time it has no resonance with me at all as representing anything. Hm. Think I shall be raiding my niece's dressing up box when I make a family visit next week! What's all that about then? Last edited by CoolBee; 10-06-2009 at 10:06 PM. Reason: grammo |

Interesting! Why would they say that! What made them have such associations regarding you? Was "royalty" implied in any way? Was it a logical "outcome" of the situation? What did you read into it?

Well I didn't think it was a logical outcome (not in my brain anyway!). There was a vague something to do with royalty involved, but not in a going forward sense. It was just interesting that they both picked on the same symbol. Anyway, I have since then googled images of tiaras (which I thought were all sticky-up spikey diamond things) and have discovered that they can be lying down on the head things too - more 'pagan' or 'celtic female warrior' type look about them which makes me feel a bit better about the idea! Spikey-diamond thing - no way. Last edited by CoolBee; 10-07-2009 at 09:59 AM. |

Just reminds me of the month before I got married. I'd was messing around at home trying out different hair styles with my tiara. Forgot I was wearing it and then went to the shops in it. Fortunately I had a flat asymetrical one, that was like a big sparkly beaded flower on the side of my head. So a bit OTT for the supermarket, but not certifiable! Perhaps they are making a fashion comeback. You could be ahead of the curve! |
