How much influence does the subconscious mind have on intentional manifestation, despite the best efforts of the conscious mind? My understanding is that the conscious mind can only process 8-10 bits of information out of the billions available to us via memories, the environment, input from all our senses, etc. We can use all sorts of techniques to try and consciously *will* our way to a manifestation, only to be sabotaged by our unconscious limiting beliefs, fears, counter-intentions, etc. What are the best techniques for getting the sub-conscious in alignment with our conscious goals and conscious intentions? |

Yes jacare I think that what are core program is, is our limit in life. So as ALG would put it clearly, if I believe that I need to work hard to have a good career this is what I have to do - work hard. And I I believe that I just need to be "corporate savvy" to have a thriving career I better build this "trait" in myself and leave the hard work to the others... I am trying to change some deep rooted beliefs I found in my subconscious/unconscious mind by listening to binaural beat and scripts recorded in my own voice. They take me to alpha much deeper much faster than I can go without them. Has anybody any experience with this? |

I think the binaural beat is using a different sound frequency in each ear. The difference of the two frequencies producing a third sound frequency. Usually done because the speaker can not normally produce that low/ deep a sound as Alpha for example. If that is the case, i think i can handle that part of it. I am interested to do that for myself as well. Can please you tell some more about making scripts with binaural beats. Thanks | |

Hi hieza, I use Neuro Programmer2, you can find it at Neuro-Programmer 2 Home - Self-Programming with Brainwave optimization and Psychological techniques (Hypnosis, NLP, etc). Hope this helps. I wondered if anybody had any experience with this? I have the technological/theoretical knowledge on how it works but am interested if anybody has had positive results with it. |

I have been identifying my deep beliefs (that I realized were subconscious )for almost a year now , watching my automatic reactions to different life situations. It is the most important thing to do to better your life. I became so much happier as I understand my self better and why I attract the things and people into mu life that I do. Get to know your autopilot, its important to your happiness. |

I have read many books on the power of the mind and they all have these common themes - the mind is programmed by thoughts and mental images - hold the image of what you want in your mind - as long and as vividly and as frequently and you can - see the images as if they have already occurred or are occurring now - emotionalize the images - feel the joy and happiness, excitement etc of having achieved want you want - your mind will be drawn like a magnet towards what you imagine - combine the images with affirmations of what you want - say them out aloud in present tense - affirm what you want not what you don't want there are many other tips but those are the ones i can think of off the top of my head. Your mind is the most powerful force in the universe so use it well. p.s the best books on this subject are The Power of Your Subconscious Mind - Dr Joseph Murphy PsychoCybernetics -Dr. Maxwell Maltz. |

There's that saying, "A belief is just a thought that you keep thinking." This has been very helpful for me because I naturally have a lot of joy, but I'm coming into this 9 months out of a dogmatic skeptic point of view- So "faith" and "belief" are a bigger struggle. I've noticed several people bringing up the value of writing out your goals- I mean, I've seen people here and elsewhere keep mentioning the practice of writing and rewriting your goals before bed, when you wake up, etc (Scott Adams and some "it works" guy and Earl Nightingale's practice of having a reminder card with you at all times.) Since that's in my environment, I decided to pick it up and it's REALLY helping. I mean, the stuff I'm writing are some more longtime goals that take "time" to show in a concrete way- But it definitely chills me out and encourages the thought to just pop randomly into my head all day. At the very least, I'm not stressed about the goals I have written down, so it's easier to focus my attention on just feeling good "now." Because more and more I'm able to tell myself / know, "Well, that part's already taken care of. No need to worry." |

I'll have to agree that... The Power of Your Subconscious Mind - Dr Joseph Murphy PsychoCybernetics -Dr. Maxwell Maltz. Are two really great books about the subconscious mind. Even after I re-read them I still learn new things. |
