Do I have the right idea here?

I've been through a number of different religions and spirituality beliefs, but they have all faded away from where my heart lies with the current chapter in my life.

A few months ago, I became introduced to the LoA by Steve here, and it called to me. Not because it sounds easier and less complicated than the previous things I had experienced but because it actually approached a lot of the previous beliefs within a much more rational and upfront view.

For instance (and correct me if I've simply mistaken this idea altogether, I'm still learning a lot about this), the prayer system in Christianity, seems to intriguingly mirror that of intention manifestation. There are a lot of aspects to other religions that seem like glittered takes on vibrational expression and universal requests as well.

So I decided to do my own research on it and begin trying this perception on myself.

The past few days I have conversed to the universe, both in my head, and out loud while alone. I've also written my intentions down in a notepad file.

I wanted to share it with you because I wanted to know if I have the right idea here as to how intention manifestation should be perceived and communicated.

I now cease to worry about the present. I know that any current situation is temporary. I know it will evolve to a new, improved scenario. Eventually it will unfold into a chain reaction of the progress I so desire.

At this time, my mind is focusing on a future outcome. Not only do I desire this outcome, but I also believe it matches mine and my daughter's personal etiquette of who we are as people and what we are capable of. We are valuable people with the ability to have a positive, healthy, and valuable effect on society and quite possibly the universe, but most of all if this outcome may come to hand.

I know this outcome is on its way into my life because of these facts. I will not sit and wait on it as if it is a distance away. I already know that I have claim over this future and that it desires to be a part of my life. I know this because it is what I am most attracted to as a person, a single father of my only child who's mother is deceased, and also because all the people around me believe that I deserve and match such an outcome. Let it be so.

My desired future holds this:
A completion of all essential documentation priorities concerning my daughter.
Soon after, an independent life.
A house of my own to raise my daughter.
A decent car and a drivers license.
A passive income from my writing at MusiciansDojo.com to support all necessities with extra funding left for my daughter's college and other things for family growth.
A wife who will fully accept and stand behind me and my daughter unconditionally.

I desire for the arrival of these things to introduce a chain reaction in my life for growth in all other areas including fitness health, and a chance to open up a music studio for aspiring musicians.

I expect that as these opportunities arrive, they will feed the source effects that they spring from, creating a perfect circle of harmony around my daughter and myself.

I am now allowing this to happen with open acceptance in the present and the arrival of the future.

I guess this thread is for discussion for any ideas present and how I communicate my intentions to the universe. Also, if this thread helps to give ideas to anyone who needs them, than all the better.

I wouldn't mention the whole wife thing.. kind of sounds like guilt, anger.. best to let that go leave that out.. this is what I would work on..

A general rule of LOA to understand is.. we are so stuck in our belief systems that's it's best not to force specifics with LOA.. so with that intention I change your writing a bit.. (unless you know your good with specifics)

My desired future holds this:
I desire a happy full-filling life with my daughter in all ways
I love to be free independent, creating and allowing everywhere (emotion this one )
A place to call home with my daughter in whatever forms in whatever ways
A way to travel and the means to travel
To create my own abundance happily in any way allowing it into my life.. to allow myself to be supported as I know I have created and allowed that support..
A person to share this with hopefully I will be in my right place and there will just be a 'right' happening

I see where you're coming from.

The main reason I used specifics is because everywhere I read about it, it states to know specifically what you desire so that whatever your intention is, you get it as close as possible. Also, the specificness of it, people tell me, is also to allow vivid and envoking visual meditation of it, so to make it more emotionally stimulating.

However, I agree with the idea of not trying to force specifics because it's the general idea of well-being anyway right?

It seems I'm kind of split between these two ways, and I'm looking for whichever one is best both as being wise and efficient in communicating my vibrations.

Leave the planning to the higher-self that's what it's for

I will not argue against specifics.. however I will suggest that manifesting will be much easier without it.. you want so much.. and unless your seeing it show up in 2 days time.. I think no specifics is better

Ok, so I see whats going on here. It revolves around summing up the main idea to what you desire, and simply seeing that main idea in action in your head. Specifics (as you said) can be taken care of however needed by the receiver of the order.
