Default Synchronicities, only when you expect them?

When I "re-discovered" LOA, I noticed lots of synchronicities. At first they freaked me out a little, but I got used to it. Then I went through a period of confusion, and it seemed the synchronicities stopped. Now I'm back thinking of LOA again, and more synchronicities are happening.

A common one for many I bet is people on tv saying what you just said, or what you're thinking. I've noticed this happening a lot. Just awhile ago, I was discussing something on another board, and a commerical came on, and in about one sentence, summed up the entire conversation I was having online. Enough to make me think "that's weird."

Often I've thought, "yeah but what about all those times that it HASN'T said what I was thinking?" But what about all the times it DOES say what I'm thinking?

I'm either reading something into it, or not. This thing from the commercial, made me feel, "yes, exactly. I'm on the right path." I felt some energy, or something like that. Yet, that commercial was going to be on anyway. But why was I talking about the exact same thing at that moment? Weirdness I tell you.

I can totally relate to your post... I experience these things daily. It still confuses me, but i'm always delighted when i notice them... I've talked extensivly about this with my father, and i can tell you it goes beyond the tv. As i'm a heavy tv watcher at the moment, that's where i notice most of these "weird" sightings of syncronicity (in commercials and the like)... However, my father doesn't watch much tv at all (maybe sports). But he often calls me with the weirdest stories, for example, he said that he and a friend were going out to the store and he had just got done looking at an ad for some fish (the kind that goes into a fishtank). He didn't think much about it at the time and mentioned to his friend as they were leaving, "I'd like to get some new fish for the fishtank", but upon returning from the store with his friend, there was a bag of fish hanging on his door wrapped in a blanket... He still has no idea where they came from. He called me a little freaked out, but at the same time intriqued... I have tons of stories like this one for me and him as well...

Keep exploring...

Well I can see from this, that maybe time is irrelevant. I'm going to keep looking for things. The fun part is they seem to line up with when I'm feeling good or hopeful or have come to some realization of some sort, this stuff is trippy. Best to not be scared of it.

If this stuff is real, my whole life is going to turn upside down. Right on cue maybe.

This morning we had lost the remote control. We tore the house apart and couldn't find it. My husband was FREAKING out because Tiger was getting ready to tee off and our cable box is screwed up and we can only change the channels with the remote. So he said very sarcastically, "I sure wish you could manifest a remote right now!" I sighed and looked down....and saw the corner of the remote sticking out from under the sofa.

I'm just sayin', is all.

ha ha! I've noticed similar things lately, when I've misplaced something. It's like when you stop looking where it isn't, your eyes go DIRECTLY to it.

I think the synchronicities are always there.

It's more whether you're in the right frame of mind to notice them.

I have the same results with the radio. When I have a problem that needs to be worked out, I turn on the radio, and the song that's playing has the answer to my problem.

Ever look up at a night sky away from a city, where you can actually see stars?

If you focus and try to make them out, they disappear.
If you shut your eyes, they disappear. Obviously.

But if you open your eyes, relax, and let the light come to you, they multiply and multiply until you see more stars than blackness.

How cool. This is a good example for me because that is how we found the 'arm' of the Milky Way. My daughter was studying astronomy last semester and we did A LOT of laying out in a field staring at the sky. We had a hard time identifying the arm of the Milky Way until we sort of relaxed and stopped looking for it. Then you can see it quite clearly.

Another one today, I think. What's been on my mind lately is relationships, didn't work out with a couple women and I was feeling kind of down, confused, lonely, maybe trying too hard, whatever. But I decided to use what I'm going through as a learning experience, if the LOA is working to bring me where I want to go... I don't know, maybe I needed some contrast to learn what I DON'T want from relationships?

Articles on websites/chat rooms that are exactly about my individual experience show up. Could be recticular activating stuff, but today I'm thinking "screw it, just get over it. If you need something too much, that just pushes it away. I need a break from thinking about women."

So I lay down and flip on the tv, which I rarely do anymore, flip through a couple channels and somehow wind up watching the "Oprah after the Show" segment for the Secret (I don't make a habit of watching Oprah or the Oxygen network, lol) and I just caught the last couple minutes, where James Ray said "If you want something, the key to having it is not needing it. When you need it, you are telling the universe it is absent, and it will be absent, raise your vibration" paraphrasing.

Now what are the chances that something like that would wind up on my tv screen, considering I hardly watch television, and when I do, it's not only the Secret, but something that ties exactly into what I'm thinking of? Food for thought.

Actually I did notice this... and looked into it. It has to do with the make up of the eye and that there are more light receptors at the outer edges than towards the center... (where inversely, we have more colour receptors instead) which means looking at a faint star will cause it to dim but looking just left or right of that same star and it will get much brighter.

Cheers!
Chris
