Default Is excitement about an intention considered emotional attachment?

I have an awesome intention I have been visualizing. I know after asking, I need to "let it go" out into the universe to let it do it's thing.

I love to visualize it and pretend I have it. Sometimes I get so excited when I am visualizing, that I have to hold in a little squeal of pure adrenalin released excitement. When I get a sync, I feel like dancing.

Is this what everyone calls being too emotionally attached to my intention?

Excitement is fine. But there is a difference between excitement and lust. Check to see if you are lusting over it (intense desire) or if you are just happy about it.

If you're happy about it, stay that way!

If it's lust, I'd recommend letting go of the feeling of lust. A good barometer is to ask yourself if you are OK whether or not you get it. If you're not OK with the idea of not getting it, then there is emotional attachment to let go of. If you are OK whether or not you get it, get ready to take delivery, it's probably coming soon!

Good response, bloom.

I feel like if I don't have a little zing! in the pit of my stomach, my emotions aren't engaged in my intention. Being excited is paramount. Needing and pining away and feeling desperate for something is not good and is a very different feeling. You can't really have the zing and be needy at the same time, I have found.

I use the zing! as my guide. Lynn Grabhorn called it "buzzing" in her excellent, funny LOA book, Excuse me! Your Life is Waiting!

The "buzz" explains it perfectly. It's like I have electricity running through my veins when I get myself so worked up about my intentions.
