Can you attract people into your reality?

First and foremost, I've found that all of my "real" friends doesn't resonate with me anymore. It's been almost one year since I got that feeling. Suffice to say I feel really alone. When I try to reconnect with my old friends, I can see that I really don't want to connect with them, but that will be out of topic.

So far, I can see that sometime this LoA work, sometime they don't. Finding RM18 under a tree is cool, but kind of pointless.
So far I only attract inanimate objects. Can I attract people into my life? How? Don't they have free will? if it do work though, doesn't it mean that I can somehow control their minds?

Your will is not separate from theirs. I know this is very difficult to understand, but its true. You are not controlling them, they are not controlling you. Your both the same organ of consciousness. Its an illusion that you were ever separate in the first place.

You and the other person are like cells in the body. The cell has needs, and functions that were pre designed. In other words, as a human being you are a certain way (human rather than say dog or plant for example).

So as I was saying, your like a cell in the body. The cell has to work in concert with the body to have a positive existence. If it doesn't work in concert with that body, it will experience suffering because it is going against the life force. Actually it causes the body as a whole to suffer.

But....if the cell is in alignment, the body will provide everything that cell needs in order to function in harmony (or be happy in other words).

So if you can find a way to be in alignment, you will naturally manifest the circumstances that will make you happy. You are changing all the time. Your desires evolve with those changes. When you learn to control your emotions through your choice of thinking, you will discover that the resonance of inner peace will by necessity bring symbols into your experience that reflect that. You'll see that the inner really does create the outer.

A simple example.

X wants to buy a car. Y wants to sell his car. X and Y attract each other into their respective realities, and X buys a car from Y.

But X has not controlled Y's mind; neither has Y controlled X's mind.

So it is with all your relationships. You draw a certain person into your reality to play a certain role. But at the same time, he is drawing you into his reality to play a certain other role.

Okay so basically you have changed your vibrating frequency in comparison to theirs. Hence no resonance with the group. It could be that you've "raised" it. It could also be that all of them have raised it above yours (little unlikely).

No, you won't be robbing any one's free will. Rather, those who vibrate at your frequency will be attracted to your reality in some way. So its like, you fit in their reality somehow, and so do they. Something like, like attracts like.

This is great advice!

Bearing in mind that "Like attracts like", it's going to be difficult to attract new friends who are on your level while you're hanging with people who aren't. If you want to catch fish, you need to go where the fish are. Similarly, if you want to meet and associate with people who are more like you (And who you want to be) then you need to go find them. Chances are they won't be in the kinds of places or social circles that your current set frequent. I know this from personal experience!

Yes I definitely think your can attract the type of people you want to surround yourself with.

I know it is so, as I have actually done the opposite and blocked everyone away from me and I know it's my energy and I know it's not because I am not a nice person. I know it's totally my doing.

Obviously I was blocking people because I had bad experiences with certain personalities and well I went a bit too far and blocked out everyone within a 10 mile radius. The good things when you block everyone out, when you ready to let people in, you really know the type of people you wanted to be surrounded around and with a strong sense of what you want, you usually attract exactly what you want.

I'm doing it constantly with people I work with now. They are always like minded, whereas before I was always attracting terrible work situations. Now I have to do with it close relationships, that will be fun.

I too see myself attracting challenging work situations and relationships that I have no interests in. I recognize this pattern and as soon as I meet some with a negative vibe I quickly end our interactions. Before, I would tolerate it and be miserable. At least I am heading in the right direction by not associating with these people. Now I need to work on attracting more positive work environment.

Do you have any suggestions where to meet more positive people. I've also outgrown the people that I am used to attracting.

Yes you are definelty heading in the right direction.

For me I had a really horrible work situation that was the instigator for me to take action. I did notice a strong pattern emerging and could see clearly it was because I was not strong in my convictions. I could clearly see I had to break the pattern. So on almost having a breakdown, I said these words "right I will never ever let these people come into my life again, from now on I will only attract these type of people, and if I ever get these horrible type of people enter my life again, I will never ever let them stand over me". Well that was a defining moment for me.

After that, I knew the type of people I wanted to work with, they had pretty much same values as me, so it really wasn't hard to know exactly what I wanted. So I said something like" the people I surround myself with will be genuine, open hearted, sincere, helpful, kind, fair and flexible". And that's who I work with pretty much with.

I don't say it once though, when I feel a situation will arise that might bring new people into my lives, I still reiterate in my mind what I want.

For example I went for a job interview today, the week before I said the people will be as above and they will allow me to be open and ask lots of questions and they will have a similar mindset as me and if they don't I will not even think about working with them (because before hand I would of thought about it). And well they did have the exact approach I was hoping for

Absolutely Ellie. You can soar with the eagles or walk with turkeys. You can't do both.

The chances of someone having the phone number of "Danny the Dealer" and George Clooney on their same phone are slim at best!

Right. Long story short, one of my friends suddenly commented on how useless his life is. Going to lectures, playing games, hanging out ... useless ... you know, the initial symptoms of wanting to be more than normal.

This is kind of remarkable. For so long, I explained this LoA through RAS theory. But, I don't think my friend think like that years ago... RAS theory doesn't seem to fit here. One by one, my belief in pure objective universe crumble.
God, what am I discovering here? This is just too strange. Damn, must be the red pill I ate. Is life really is a form of dream? What's the truth about it?
It's kind of scary.

Oh. About my friend, I quickly canceled my intention. It just too... weird to discuss philosophies with him. Besides, I want to focus to attract a loving relationship, not the one that stuck on superficial things.
