| Hello everyone, Ive just joined today. Ive read quite a few posts and I think this forum is awesome. Thanks in advance for your thoughts. So I am wondering if this might be the case. This reality that I am experincing is like a dream with me in it. I am a character in the dream, but actually in reality I am the dreamer and therefore the whole dream to. As far as my experience goes for now though I am only aware that I am this "person" in the dream. In order to be really sucessful in the dream I need to a. be aware that I can make things happen b. focus on what I want Such are the rules of manifesting. its helps to know Im dreaming cause then I can be lucid and really have some fun, (but its not essential..only point a is and b are) Anyway if this is my dream I can literally do whatever I want and manifest absolutely anything without doing anything at all other than focusing on it and believing that it is so. That means that I want to get the a fit body, I dont have to do any exercise whatsoever....In fact the ONLY reason I would have to exercise is if I belived that it would lead to my amazing body. To add to this to successfully manifest, I am supposed to be assuming that I already have a fit body and be grateful for it....well If I truly belived that I wouldnt do any exercise, because I cant be bothered with it. So by exercising I am actually showing a lack of belief in the power of manifestation? Instead I would take different action like go out and buy appropriately sized clothes for my new physique etc. Is this right, or am I missing something? thanks again |

| Hi I am not sure I get the whole dream vs reality concept. I personally do not believe there is such a thing as 'the reality' since reality is whatever is real for you. there is no reality just perception. manifesting is as real to me as getting up and making breakfast, I am focused about it because I want to manifest the things I want was as soon as... I really think that in order to manifest whatever it is, you need to have a genuine as in authentic and deep desire for whatever it is, a deep desire requires passion and commitment. if losing weight is a genuine desire for you there is no way you will lie on the couch waiting for the universe to make it happen once you've noticed that things are already in motion and that you've been helped to get the result you want. You will become a lot more focused and a lote more motivated and you will excercise. Manifestation is an act of Co-creation, you become the creator of your life... |

| If you believe exercise needs to happen for you to be at a desired weight...

| yea I guess thats the thing. I dont feel like I deserve to loose weight unless I do some work for it, so it probably not going to happen. Prehapes manifesting a long side will speed things up. Its just dawned on me though before though that if I am dreaming Im overweight, I may as well be dreaming Im the right weight. In theory it should be as simple as that. It is Im sure like Somaya says, you are not really demonstrating a deep commitment by sitting on a couch. However is that prehapes a limiting belief in itself... The need to have a deep commitment? Maybe you could change your belief that you dont need much of a commitment at all and then things would be much easier! |

I feel a sort of desperation for most of my goals and a real lethargy for some of the more physical ones. Namely 1 to get fit and 2 to sing. I want this more than anything in the world and I pretty much know what exercises I need to do in both areas to achieve them and yet some how there is this massive reluctance. Its llike im rebelling against myself to do the work. Just writing this I can see its no wonder i am having difficulty manifesting anything! If anyone can help me get passed this, I would be eternally grateful! |

| Okay, the way I understand it is that a person should figure out why he or she wants something, and how they will feel once they get it. Once you've got that feeling, then you think about what you want while holding onto that good feeling. For instance, if you want to get in shape it might be to have more confidence or to be healthier. So being in shape would make you feel confident, powerful, in control, and capable. Focusing on those feelings would be helpful in this instance. Habits are harder to break if there is nothing to replace them with--you may need to replace your attitudes of desperation and apathy with something better. |
