Default back on the I/M bandwagon

I have been a slacker this past month. Time to get back on the bandwagon and lay out my intentions and hold them until they are manifest.

I have said this before but it is time to say it again.

1) my new business (income)
2) clean and refurbish my home - inside and out

These are the top two. I have more and will be working on articulating them over the next few days. This process is magic. I heard an interesting discussion on NPR's Fresh Air yesterday. It was a 1982 recording and one line from it was - if you go to the museum you are expecting to see creativity, when you go to work every day you may overlook enormous creativity because you are not expecting it.

Something in THAT line really popped for me. It is all in how we channel our focus. We truly get what we are looking for. That is so awesome.

Thank YOU Stacy. You inspired me to go back and review the interview.
The link is: NPR Media Player and the portion that I refer to begins about minute 9:00 and goes through about minute 14. The interview is with musician John Cage whose life partner Merce Cunningham died on July 26th.

To switch subjects somewhat, I am aware that in order to participate in the I/M process that draws me, I must shift my psychological being. I grew up and lived in a state of decrepidness and spent many years trying to get back on track, unaware that the track was never right.

I find it very difficult to move away from nurturing the hurts and losses of life, I know not why but I do know that the I/M philosophy points in a different direction. It points in a direction of being connected to others, of supporting and encouraging and participating with others, of feeling that belonging and connection in a profound way. The I/M comes out of a fullness not out of struggle.

So next week, while my little one is away, I will focus on every aspect of life with a mind toward developing a mindset of fullness. I have a long list of Is to move toward M and one thing standing in my way is my mindset of fear, marginalization, and lacking.
