OK... Please listen and reply (positive replies only). I am pretty good at manifesting what I want. However, I noticed that there is a pattern in my life which I attract the wrong relationships. Jobs in a hostile enviroment. Upon noticing this pattern, I decided to try and work whatever subconcious I have issues out of me. I chose the route of a success coach. I decided to give this woman a try and our first conversation went well...thought I finally have someone positive in my corner. However, today after talking with her I felt very depressed. Note, before our session I was upbeat. I think the reason for my disappointment with her is that she told last week not to settle for anything less than what I want in relationship or career. Today, However, she said that I need to shorten the list of critera I have for my new my job, and to only expect to get about 4 things on my List (WTF). I listed about 21 things that I want in my new job. Also, she said that I need to cut down on my list for the relationship. She said it was too detailed (I thought it was good to be detailed). Anyway, she wanted me call her for a next meeting. I thought the situation over and decided not to continue our sessions. Question, am I being too sensitive or should I continue to look for someone else to work with? |

I don't think you're being too sensitive at all. The fact that she asked you to narrow down your list suggests that she herself harbors doubt; not the best quality for a success coach to be passing on to her clients! You can have everything you are hoping for on both lists! |

You can have everything you are hoping for on both lists![/QUOTE] Thank you for replying to my post. This I do know I can get whatever I set my mind to. It becomes kinda difficult when you're looking for some support and you get the opposite. |

This is the truth.. you may have a belief that is continuing to resurface until you deal with it.. one way to deal with it is this.. "Circumstances don't matter, only state of being matters" What's this mean?? Well you say you’re in a job environment or a life coach environment that is not pleasing to you.. but the bottom-line is not to let them get to you.. for you to focus and remain YOURSELF no matter what.. if you want to change the belief using this idea in these circumstances is one way to go about it..`

At that point, two things may happen. (1) The coach will give you a really good reason, that maybe you haven't thought of yet, which actually shows you that the coach is much smarter than you thought, or (2) The coach will get pissed off at you for questioning their tactic and try to give you **** for being "uncoachable". If it's #2, dump and find another coach would be my advice. I've coached people before and I've never had a situation where a student had a concern about my tactics and I couldn't explain "why" I was doing things a certain way.

Specifying too many criteria can cause you to lose sight of what is MOST important to you. As a result, you spray your mental focus all over the place and it becomes more difficult to achieve your goal. In one of Deepak Chopra's manifestation exercises, he in fact describes how in meditation, you can keep simplifying your intention further and further as you meditate, until it eventually becomes a single word, image or feeling and your entire mind is throbbing with it.

There was another reason why I decided to look elsewhere for assistance. I was on the defense the whole time I was talking with her. I didn't feel that she was supporting my goals. She would ask me a question...and when I gave her an answer, it seems as though she wanted things to be her way...also, she seemed very insecure. She asked me if she was doing a good job and when I didn't reply, she basically was begging for validation. I picked up that she was insecure, so I played on that for a while |
