One thing that gets me about this whole IM thing is that many people rely on it without balancing hard work and action. What I currently believe is that we are neither completely our body or our mind, and ego is based on both of these. Thoughts can manifest, and so can actions. But being consciously aware of both is the best way to go! I love my aunt to death, but she can take it a little far. She's kind of overweight, and says things like "I am manifesting a healthy body right now", and then eat a lot of calories. I think the belief of calorie maintenance is empowering (as Steve Pav. would state it), so I'm not going to carry the belief that I can eat whatever and lose weight, or eat little and gain weight. I guess my main question is: Are our thoughts somewhat "higher" than our actions? Because according to subjective reality, we are neither our mind nor body. Just don't "abuse" IM if you cannot change your beliefs |

Thoughts >>> Feelings >>> Actions What sets up the thought? Vibration. Energy in your mind. The thought sends an electric pulse that creates a feeling. Then depending on how you feel, your body acts. It all stems from the thought. Thoughts are magnetic and set off a certain vibration. By the Law of Attraction, whatever you are dominantly thinking is attracted to you, because it is vibrating on the same frequency as your thought it has no choice but to be attracted to you. So, if you continously think about the one thing (for example losing weight) then you must by law attract to you the circumstances necessary for you to lose weight (good diet, exercise, etc). However, where a lot of people go wrong, is they say one thing (I am manifesting a more slim body) but they have not changed their habitual ways of thinking that got them overweight in the first place. The only way to manifest new results is to change your way of thinking by focusing exactly on what you want to manifest (a slim body) and never make the mistake of losing faith and focusing on the fact that you might not yet have gotten your goal (so you then fall into the trap of focusing on your present situation - being overweight - which then manifests more of you being overweight). The process of manifesting what you want in your life is really quite simple, (decide what you want, think about it in a positive fashion as much as possible, allow it to happen) but is often very difficult to implement because of the habitual patterns of thought that we hold that are contrary to the object of your desire. It all comes down to mastering your thoughts, repgrogramming your subconscious mind with your desired goals, and eliminating negative thought patterns... Simple right? |

i can eat whatever i want and i keep a very healthy and beautiful body! i dont have any ! |

Neither thoughts nor actions manifest anything. A deeper energy of creation is at work bringing things and hiding things in our awareness. Our thoughts and physical environment are like radio stations tuning into their special zone of experience. Your thoughts are your choices manifesting in the mental plane of existence. You experience them as the flow of thoughts. The thoughts are not the choices themselves.... by the time you have a thought the choice has already been made. Your actions and world are your choices manifesting in the physical plane of existence. You can also experience your manifestations in different planes of exisence, ranging from the emotional plane to some really bizarre realities (bizarre to the mind, that is). So you manifest totally without thoughts or actions. If you link your thoughts to manifestation, then you have to use some recipe to try to get what you want and the reflection of that will probably end up in mixed results to show you you're going in the wrong direction. EVERYTHING in the above list is manifested, *poof*, but our choice for denial in the moment obscures what is and we never see we create health all the time (and can choose it independently of other choices, like cake (or yummy bacon)). If I stay unaware that I'm playing with denial, the cake will appear to hurt me, because I've set up a linkage between food and it's effects on my health. If I keep my focus on my health and consciously address my game with denial in the moment (oh wow, I've linked cake with overweight and unhealthy, and empty calories, and ....) and RECEIVE my choice for denail, I can eat cake and just enjoy it. Receiving a choice is tough to describe on a forum. It happens on all levels of your being. Many try to just get away with saying 'yes' to the denial on the mental level and that doesn't fully receive the manifestation (you'll still get fat and unhealthy from cake). I'll have to do a post or blog entry on 'reception'. Emotional reception is the stumbling block for many and I can't teach that on a forum. It's experiential, not mental. | |
