Can science create super-manifesters?
There is supposed to be a part of the brain that when stimulated creates a "religious" feeling. A feeling of connectedness with a god, universal consciousness, or universal truth. It gives the person a direct connection to "faith."
What if scientists implanted a device to stimulate that particular part of the brain of a test subject and gave them drugs to make them happy all the time. Of course the drugs couldn't affect their ability to actually function in the world, but their happiness would surely add to the effectiveness of any intentions this person tried.
If we were able to accomplish this would we have uber-manifesters?
Hmm... interesting. I wonder what would happen if everyone was given this "treatment."

It's an interesting idea.
However, I don't think that many scientists are seriously looking into this kind of research yet.
Closest example I can think of (and it's quite distant) is the joint research between Stuart Hameroff and Sir Roger Penrose.
Hameroff is Emeritus professor for Anesthesiology and Psychology at the University of Arizona
Roger Penrose is an English mathematical physicist and Emeritus Rouse Ball Professor of Mathematics at the Mathematical Institute, University of Oxford and Emeritus Fellow of Wadham College.
Some links to their research which I had referred to:

A drug which activates the right parts of your brain may give you a "feeling of connectedness", but it won't the real McCoy. A genuine relationship with the Universal Consciousness requires you to walk the path yourself. It requires knowledge and understanding. Discovering this connection by yourself, that's the whole point of existence.

I don't see why not, what's the difference in your body releasing the chemical and it being released in your body.
I remember an event during a very dark time in my life when I was suddenly filled with hope and I went from suicidal to a feeling of ecstasy that lasted about 3 hours. It was like pure unbridled joy. During that time I came to many realizations and remember, this is before I had even heard of IM or LOA. I walked away from that experience knowing that I was connected to everything, My life was my creation and this occurred via my thoughts and feelings. While in this "state" I thought of one person in particular that I was very fond of at the time and she later told me that she knew something very special had happened to me and she was aware of my thoughts about her.
This was all about my feeling state, my enhanced sense of joy amplified my thoughts much more than they are normally. I know the debate rages on here about feelings vs thoughts but I think it's both. I believe the state of joy or "bliss" coupled with our thoughts adds more energy to the process.
