manifesting a person you have no contact with:
I have yet to read the articles here on intention manifestation, so I greatly, greatly apologize as this has no doubt been covered. I intend to read them when I get more time later tonight, but I wanted to ask this question in the meantime.
I started listening to this audiobook today where the guy is talking about how you can make things a reality through your subconscious during prayer. I had seen people here mention intention-manifestation so this seemed like what he was speaking of, without the necessity of the prayer part obviously. (if this isn't what intention manifestation is, then i greatly apologize - i will read when i get home.)
so moving forward with this assumption, it makes total sense how you can yourself become certain things by manifesting them. like for instance if you visualize yourself as having learned a certain language, it makes perfect sense that it would be easier for you to learn that as these are things completely under your own control.
i think i have also skimmed some threads here where people are talking about getting a girl through this - but even here, since you have contact with the person, there is some sort of attraction radiated.
but what about if you have no contact with the person at all
what i am asking is. let's say there is a girl in another city you have met before. you have tried to talk to her yourself and also through a friend but she wasn't interested. is there a way this works where you can get her? what would be required is somehow sending the impulse in her mind, to open dialogue with this person who she probably barely remembers exists and who is in a different city.
how would this work?
Its not among the easy manifestations.
For me, if I were to do it...
First and foremost, you need to focus on yourself and have absolute certainty in yourself. The more love you have of yourself, the more powerful your energies will be. The belief that "she barely remembers [you] exists" needs to go - you must believe yourself to be unforgettable, absolutely powerful, complete desireable, and that she /is/ already kicking herself for not coming for you. Having a vast confidence in your ability to manifest on every level also helps.
Next, you should consider that 'she' does not exist. There are many ways to consider this, but 'she' does not have any mind of her own because in subjective reality, she is only part of yourself. If she is rejecting you, it is because YOU are rejecting you. Why are you rejecting you? Why aren't you feverishly in love with yourself? You manifested her into her universe, and you manifested her lack of interest in you. Why?
Once you've visualized a new her that is vastly interested in you and remembers you, watch for alpha reflections. The universe will offer you opportunities - pay attention to them. Its likely that one of them will bring her to you.
Finally, try not to think too much about it once you've done a few manifestations of her. Attachment to result will hurt your manifestation. And it will take time, regardless. Focus elsewhere.
To be frank, it will probably be easier just to manifest an ideal girlfriend rather than a specific girl - and probably happier for you. But if you want to, it is possible.
i am very intrigued by your reply but at the same time confused (having read steve's article). let's say i begin taking a few minutes to visualize myself fully confident with myself and her regretting having passed me up. (is the visualization aspect important to this?) i visualize even deeper an image of deep regret on her part and a desire to somehow now get in contact with me.
now how can what i have just now done affect her at all for these things to actually occur? or is that not how it works...?
my understanding was that this only works for people you can be around in real life so that you are able to manifest the actual attraction and make it happen.
i would greatly appreciate it if you expounded on how i can make this work, if possible, as i really want to try this. thanks.
ok, i just finished reading through all the articles. it appears you CAN manifest things outside of your control, as you are essentially just putting in a request to the universe.
now i understand why you were saying it would be much easier to just manifest what i have in mind for a girlfriend rather than a specific person. however, i want to try this first as i really like this girl.
so my question is, steve that when you do it, to visualize the intention to have manifested itself. so would i visualize myself in a relationship with the girl or on the other hand, would i visualize her making the decision to change her mind and give me a chance?
The short: you'll manifest whatever you believe you can. If you read around on the forums, you'll see various people finding various methods useful. Research, look around, find something that you like and can believe in. Willworking, magick, manifestation, whatever you want to call it - it is all highly personal. Mastering it will be a personal journey of discovery.
Physical presence has little to do with the actual mechanics manifestation. None of it is taking place on this level of consciousness/reality/universe - its like the Matrix's scene of "I know kung-fu". Morpheous defeats Neo, and Neo assumes it is because Morpheous is stronger and faster than he is. Of course, it has nothing at all to do with his physical muscles inside a computer program.
In fact, this was tested before with prayer groups on bacteria in petri dishes and in other experiments. Physical distance, if it is a factor, is vastly inferior of an influence compared to quantities of conviction, faith, and "love energy."
As to what is a 'better' manifestation: heh. Again, a highly personal choice and while I do think there are more correct answers here, you will most learn with experience. It might not hurt to visualize an end result you want, "This girl is now my girlfriend, and I am so grateful to the Source/God/Universe." At the same time, it also might not hurt to visualize something more immediate and simpler to believe in, like "We've met again, and we hit off great! Thank you, God/Source/Universe!"
Whatever is easier for you to maintain faith in, focus on that. The more faith you can pump into a manifestation, the harder the universe will work to make it happen.
Detachment is necessary. You seem to be manifesting your lack of her on a significant basis - once you form a manifestation, the next step is to let it go. This is because unless you have absolute faith, conscious thought introduces doubt. Doubt is not good.
After you've manifested and detached, watch for alpha reflections and beta reflections. You should see them soon, which is the universe's way to inform you that its gotten your order. This should help with your faith. However, after the initial alpha reflections, there may be a significant lull in further validification. Its important to keep up the faith yourself then.
Chances are, if it /had/ worked out perfectly, you will see opportunities emerge(perhaps you find a way of contacting her in a favorable way?), and you can get to act on them. Chances are that it will not be fast. You can improve the speed by working on yourself, and realizing that it is usually something in you that is slowing down the manifestation.
I'm overall uncomfortable with the way that you keep writing things as 'out of your control.' That implies a fundamental belief that it is, in fact, out of your control. If you set such parameters for your universe, then you will not succeed. The universe is going to abide by your more heartfelt belief: that this is not in your control.
If I may, I suggest that you focus on manifesting easier goals for the moment. She's not going anywhere for the moment. You need to build your faith, confidence and love in yourself - you seem to be well on your way, so keep at it. Prioritize that above a difficult manifestation.
thanks for the thoughtful response. for my personal edification, among those who do this regularly, is there a belief of this action as praying to God, ie: putting in a request to God?
furthermore, regarding detachment, i was not aware that the 'request' or 'visualization' should only be done once and then let go. because i had been under the assumption of a 'worshipper-God' paradigm, i had viewed the process of asking for something which needed to be reinforced.
Its not 'done once' and let go, unless you're a master manifester. And yes, there are those who believe it as speaking to God(including myself at times). Reinforcement is nice, but detachment is still important - getting emotionally involved is inviting chaos into your manifestation.
I highly, highly suggest that you read and contemplate more. Most of your questions are answered in many substantial ways already. You're approaching this with, I believe, more rote and ritual than it should be.
I can't spoonfeed you your manifestation. I'm sure if I really felt like it, I could, but then it'll be /my manifestation/, not yours. And you'll learn nothing yourself. So this is still my advice to you: focus on manifesting smaller, easier goals first. Build your faith and your strength, then move on to more difficult goals.
If you wanted to lift a large rock, would you go and try doing that right now, or would you rather work out and develop your muscles first?
There are bascially 7 different "stages" to The Process, and LoA AND detachment are 2 key elements, but there are more areas. Read around and find them for yourself ... you will learn them WHEN you are ready to accept and receive more into your life.
All that people post on these forums and questions are all about "a journey" that we have all started on eons ago (I would even suggest before our physical birth now).
Once you also realise that there is no separation with any of us or anything ... we are all linked to each other and each "thing" .... you will understand how and why synchs happen, how and why people come into our lives (as resources etc) ... none of us is superior or inferior to the rest.
If you can go beyond "conscious" thought, to your sub conscious and then deeper to the super conscious .... your personal answers to all your questions you have had, have and will ever have are there. Ignore conscious "monkey chatter" that plagues most peoples lives and listen for the quiet, non emotive intuitive voice.
Remember if you do not go withIN you go withOUT.
If you are interested in books, I really like The Law of Attraction and Ask and It Is Given by Jerry and Esther Hicks. They are easy to read and understand. The second book gives you a bunch of processes you can use to help you practice and become better at manifesting.
The premise of these books is simple: align with Source [I think of Source as universal energy] and live in joy. I have found the Hicks' writings to be invaluable for changing my mindset and becoming a more content, happier person.
1. regarding reading more, i have read all of steve's articles on this site, and have begun doing some researching online on the topic. is there anything specific that you could recommend?
2. regarding manifesting smaller things first: the reason i feel i am ready for this, and concomitantly, the reason why the serendipity of such a discovery was so very intriguing to me was because i have manifested things in the past without knowing what was occurring. allow me to explain:
i am a man of faith but am rather inconsistent in my worship. i have periods where i pray constantly and periods where i do not pray at all. i have found that in these latter stages, i am completely dead with no creative energy. conversely though, during the periods when i am praying, i have found answers to my problems presenting themselves to me almost miraculously. i have wondered about this alot over the years and how it exactly works. during high school, i cured myself of a severe form of acne in a matter of 2 months using this method. when i heard the audiobook yesterday and then read up on intention manifestation, it suddenly hit me like a lightning bolt, affirming the reality of what i had done so many times in my life.
that's when i began to ponder what exactly is the extent of this power/method. i have cured myself of acne, completely changed my lifestyle and fatigue problems, along with a numerous host of PERSONAL issues. it made perfect sense to me that we can control what occurs with ourselves through belief. but can we impact something regarding someone else?
the issue with the girl is one that has been bothering me and so i wondered if it would be possible to utilize this method in this particular situation.
and thus my query. :)
There is no separation of self and other, so the short answer is: yes. If you can affect yourself, you can affect 'others' since they are also part of you(conversely, you are part of them). And faith is the most powerful force in the world, so the extent is infinite.
I would recommend that you manifest, "How can I learn more about manifestation" and then browse, being observant. Its what worked for me and helped develop me immensely - the universe hears questions, and gives answers.
thanks, i'm googling that right now. what do you mean that there is no separation of self and other?
is this the belief that everything is essentially connecte as one with the universe?
another question i have is, when people speak of 'the universe' in these types of topics pertaining to the subconscious mind, is that what would be analogous to 'God' within the paradigm of religion?
