let ego go

these are my thoughts at the moment, MY EGO IS HOLDING ON....

why does it do this????

because the mind is afraid that if it lets go of control, nothing will happen,

I find this intensely frustrating as I realize unequivocally this is the very thing that blocks or keeps what I desire at bay, my mind wont give it up!!!!......it thinks it must stay focused, It thinks it has to clean up thought, it thinks it must align all beliefs, it thinks it cannot forget, and then it thinks, if it does all of this, only then will it get what it wants...........and to be perfectly honest, its all that garbage that actually just stops the flow. YOU, ME, or what we identify our selves to be (ego) are actually in its way.....by even TRYING to manifest.....

I have learned, that this learning is littered with contradiction.....for example, if what I say is right, how then do you take yourself out of the manifesting process, but at the same time be involved....

personally, I believe it to be, pure faith, faith in your connection to the universe....

To give an example, I used the analogy on another thread the other day, when Jesus asked for miracles, he did not say god, can I have a miracle please, and then ask god, to WAIT while he cleaned up his limiting belief, and aligned himself, he did not do this, because he already knew in his connection, he was already aligned, and not in mind but in knowing....so the best thing one can do for themselves in this process, is to work on knowing in what you are, and only then can you truly create....


I love this saying and this is manifesting in its simplest form

ASK, and then LET GO AND LET GOD.....but yet we all still fumble around, looking for techniques and theories to create, it needs a plan.........a guarantee....so we work on this and that, and its pointless, because when you get to the end of this manifesting journey you will realize that there is nothing you needed to do, but simply know....faith is not a technique, it is a fact......you do all of this work to realize there is no work

Another way to see this is to realise that in reality, it is your ego is looking for a blue print to create, but on a deeper level, your soul is looking to know, is searching to know itself, we are actually looking for the Jesus in you.....and the coolest thing is, its there already, but you do not acquire it, you have tune into it....and you do this by believing

and my take is this, when you know and figure that out, that we are made in the image of GOD, which by the way is what has happened to me, then you can ask for limitless miracles like Jesus....

you become the manifesting magician that we all so desire to be......

I know many will read this and not grasp what I have written, we are too far gone in our beliefs about creating, ie belief aligning, positive thinking, many have their blue print and will not move from it, and this is fine, however, all up, I am suggesting to everybody that creating is not as difficult as we think, in fact, its ten thousand times more easier than we make it.

There is so much to respond to in your post, that I can only respond from where I am now. (And, that might be different in 2 hours, or less...) My planning/re-acting/remembering mind I call my ego. It's always been very good at these things and I am grateful. It has helped me get to appointments and to write reports and to get through school or a complicated assignment. It's helped me learn how to do new things.

But, as you say, it stinks at manifesting! I have spent 3 years learning to say, "Thanks, but no thanks!" to my (planning, re-acting, remembering mind) ego.

Today, I have been re-reading Wallace Wattles, <em>The Science of Getting Rich</em>. He re-minds us that we must hold on to our dreams/visualizations without any doubt. We must understand that the formless substance is creating it as soon as we think it, and never doubt.

It is so hard for the (remembering mind) ego to stay out of the way! Gerald O'Donnell suggests that you just say "thank you" to the ego when it buds in.

Emotions give you instant feedback. Intuition moves fast. I'm working at learning to move fast without a plan. This seems to be working much better. Many new teachers say that the world will be moving faster and faster as we approach the equator of the Milky Way, and make the turn. (2012) It will serve us well to learn to think and respond from intuition rather than from the slow, strategizing ego. It's time is over.

Dr. Hawkins says, "hold in mind what you desire, but without adding any desire to it." Because desire is what blocks us from getting it in the first place. Desire is the energy of inherent lack, because to desire something you must not have it to begin with right? that's putting lack out to the universe.

Also, the more you transcend ego and let it go, the less contradicting intents you have in your system, and the easier/faster it takes to manifest something. You are so in tune with Reality that whatever you think or say can manifest something, even if you didn't want it. I've heard of enlightened beings who are dismayed that they manifested something they didn't even want. Be careful what you wish for

Also...Jesus said, "seek first the kingdom of heaven, and all else shall be added unto you"... meaning, transcend ego first, then you can manifest what you want. Actually, you stop wanting to manifest anything, and you trust the Universe to give you what you really need. A good lesson to keep in mind

absolutely strem2, its a hard path, I wrote those words in pure knowing, so I knew in what I was saying, but give me a few days and the ego, slowly butts back in, it may start with one thought, and it may say something like BUT, and then another but, and then maybe a victim thought will enter the equation....like, YOU TRY SO HARD, and before you know I am back in MIND and connection is gone,

how easy is this, ask, stop thinking, flow and know....and although these are mind concepts, and we perceive it as something that we HAVE TO DO, in reality think about actually doing it, this is not a chore, this is a state of being, it is effortless, and your really not doing one thing at all..........but knowing

and the only way to know, is to truly know in what you are.........doubtless.... I believe if you access that in you, and all of the time, WOW!

very wise words, and I tend to agree, in fact massive sync with the bible quote, I read it yesterday for the first time!

and your right about no desire, it is just thinking and feeling a thing in the moment.....perfection...

Matthew 6:33 says it well: “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” In choosing to first develop ourselves spiritually, we automatically make our way into a higher consciousness where all things are possible.

My understanding of this quote is this, seek the kingdom in you...so seek to know what we are, GOD, image of god, connected to god.... and a TINY consequence of knowing this is creating power, like Jesus....

By the way, I am listening to that quote, that's the third bible saying that has come into my space, that continues to keep showing up...the other one was let go and let go, and the last one was, we are made in the image of god...I am not religious, but boy am I getting religious sync's of late...

funnily enough, I happened to watch a dvd last night called KINGDOM OF HEAVEN, ( as per bible quote) and my counter on the dvd player gave me a few clues, at 11111 the words LET GO, LET GO OF CONTROL were said, and in the next film I watched the same thing happened, at 11101 the words messenger, I wasn't looking it just happened, not that this surprised me, I have had 1111 for years..

I'm peeved off, I know in this like I know in anything, yet I am really struggling to take my mind out of the picture....

This can be a response to almost anything, everything, and it re-connects you to the truth/feeling/understanding that we are all One.

Eckhart Tolle tells us to stay in the now. The way to do that is to smell, see, listen, feel right now. Yet, A Course in Miracles points out how difficult it is to really "see" what's there without adding history.

All this helps.... But, ego is part of being alive. Ego is like our personna/character on this stage. We know that we will be able to get out of our costume and makeup when we're back in the "green room", but for now, on the stage, we sort of need our ego.

I read the article from your other post, and I believe I've manifested an answer. As I've become more and more of a believer in LOA, I've started to believe it can't be "this hard". I don't think we need all the processes and complications.

Faith feels better. The processes feel tedious and the end result is always faith. The only "process" I believe in is visualizing and keeping the image of desired outcome in your conciousness, simply because it's easier for me to keep faith when I have something to "see".

I don't exactly know what point I'm getting at. To cut it short...have faith. You're working with the Universe here. If it could become all this glorious nature and planets and galaxies, I know it can handle our happiness with ease.

I am saying with ego...ego judges reality as it sees it, so if you are asking for change or trying to manifest something else than what you have got then it has to be transcended...

ego is the thing that will talk you out of something, it will tell you that what you have is not great and push you to keep seeking and resist life...it will tell you that manifesting is hard...it will form ideas on everything....ego will also interject memory, so it will ignite emotions that say, BUT YOU HAVE NEVER HAD IT BEFORE, AND THAT DIDN'T WORK, YEAH BUT.....

I am saying if you are wanting to manifest change, then it must be taken out of the equation...so, a calm vision, in MIND SIGHT, no chatter (ego).....

manifesting is easy, but we have never operated from the level it asks us to operate from before, its like coming over to a new side of being...

this is it...

ask
believe
flow
loose ego
have a target...

all of those things in harmony, and when you think about those things, its actually a new state of being as opposed to a theory..there is no stress in that formula...if your doing it

we don't my friend....but in a way we do, we do, because as I have said, this stuff asks us to operate on a different level and that is the learning....but when you have learned that, you will find its SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Easy! and we will wonder why it was so hard!

faith will give you that, this is all reduced to faith, Master that and then learn to shut your ego up...and PRESTO

ego is not where faith resides....

That's a rather disturbing thought to me. If you completely let go of all control, how do you know its what you really want? How is it any different from any fatalistic creed? Even Pavlina keeps lists of things he wants to manifest - otherwise, haven't you just gotten yourself lost in the whims of the universe once again?

I suppose that I personally don't see the univese at this all-wise and all-good thing, only as this genuinely helpful and benevolent force - but I have to provide an impetus and force for it. If the universe is God, then God has given me the divine spark of being a sub-creator(made in His image), and therefore, I still should have my aims, goals and desires to manifest.
