Default Rather shocking.... Please look

Hello everyone.

I have been a lurker on this forum for over 6 months. I have read almost every page on this sub-forum and a lot others. I finally decided to sign up today, because I wanted to share with you some rather shocking info.

a little bit more about me:
i have been interested in the subconscious mind for lights years. I truly believe it controls us, not our genetics (my beliefs). i believe that the subconscious can and does control our genetics. at first i had my doubts like everyone, that annoying little peasant in the back of your head; you know what i am talking about.

you must truly believe and have a real desire to succeed using the subconscious mind. one of the best things i did to gain confidence and true belief in what i was doing was reading a couple of books on brain-body connection (not advertising).

anyways...

about 8 weeks ago, I was loosing my hair at a rapid rate. i have male pattern baldness. this really got to me emotionally. i mean REALLY. I would cry everyday, i am a man, crying everyday over me losing my hair...

I thought, I am losing hair because my mind wants to; i need to change that!!

I said to my self that i was going to stop my hair loss no matter what. at this point i was so emotionally into regaining my hair that i really had no doubts, i was just desperate, i forced my self to believe in it.

you see i knew a lot about hypnosis, subconscious, and etc. but never did it.

i finally went to walmart bought my self a microphone and made my self a custom suggestion. it was about 2 sentences and took 14 seconds to say. I used audio city btw (free). i c/p that 1 suggestion and made it into 1 hour worth of suggestions.

the track was 58 minutes long - it repeated the suggestion 248x

I kid you not, besides 6 hours of work, i had this in my ear every single god damn day.

typical day with work was - 9 hours - 2232 suggestions
days without work - 15 hours - 3720

i always slept with it on also, because we go into theta before we sleep.

i listened to this so much, after about 5 days, i would start randomly just saying it in my head like you would do with a song. at the same time i was going insane listening to this tape. after about 3 weeks of listening to everyday i noticed that i was losing MUCH less hair. this was not a imagination of my subconscious, i was losing much less hair. i always closed my train when taking showers to see how much hair i lost i know for a fact i was losing less hair. i was so damn happy i started to cry again in joy. i listened to it for another 2 weeks. it was getting less. i eventually stopped listening to it. my hair still lose hairs, everyone does, but it is nothing like what before.

at the end i probably heard the suggestion over 70,000 times

i have a theory of what happened.

my subconscious adjusted my dht levels in my opinion. i noticed much less hair growing every where. just a theory though.

i have not regenerated my hair... yet! my next attempt is to try to regrow some of the hair i lost.

you can ethier take this as an inspiration and motivate you to do something or you can "doubt me" "no way you did that thats genetics" bla bla bla

up to you

Thanks! I am trying suggestions for other physical problems, so far not always successful. It is good to get encouragement.

deliriousscholar, you are teaching me such a lesson. I have a half hour subliminal CD (from Centerpointe) and only listen to it, once or twice a day.... Good for you! All day long! You deserve your hair, and much, much more!

wow, fascinating.... as i was reading your post all i could think of is the movie "somewhere in time" where the character blocks out all present day surroundings and repeats to himself over and over he is in a different time and transports himself!

there may be something to this...go for it!

The enjoyment of hair is different than having hair.

Interesting actions. Not many people have had a tape repeat to themselves over and over like that. Keep us updated.

deliriousscholar - I would greatly appreciate it if you could keep me (us) posted. This is awesome stuff! I am a big fan of Bruce Lipton (Biology of Belief) and this is right up his alley.

aggie - nice synchronicity in that I just reposted a blog article about Somewhere in Time
You can read it here if you want.

I thought this too, my dirty mind went straight to my girlfriend sitting on my head....

Now that I think of it I can recall having some simple affirmations that created odd scenarios to manifest in my life.

His work on the possibility that the genetic code actually changes was most impressive, I had a feeling this would end up being the case but the specifics were never a study of mine. I think this will help us understand a lot of diseases, plus, I hope it prevents insurance companies from jacking premiums on people with "bad genes".

True,
your SUBconscious mind re-creates your body continuously,
including altering its Gene-expressions. After
it changes Maternal-imprinting, including ancient beliefs
'as we age chronologically, we also fall apart'. We can change that.

Was that a diagnosis?, or another guess you made?
It could also be due to unresolved emotions, or other decisions.

Did you get the blood-tests done?, to determine
IF this was a Hormone-imbalance, either -
1. Men begin losing hair when their scalp is too sensitive to dihydrotestosterone (DHT).
DHT
is a derivative product of testosterone making hair follicles shrink, thinning hair, & stops re-growth of new hair.
or
2. Thyroxin, produced by the thyroid gland. And it's one of the hormones in hair loss. This hormone controls how your body utilizes food; largely also influenced by (distress = cortisol-levels from other hormones.)
If thyroxin is produced in excessive amounts, could result in hair loss via hair shedding.
When thyroid gland is under-active, one’s hair becomes brittle leading finally to loss of hair, sometimes.
or
3. apart from Testosterone, many other hormones can cause hair loss. FSH (Follicle-Stimulating Hormone) stimulates the production of GnRH (Gonadotropin-releasing Hormone), which in turn stimulates the production of FSH. In fact, we have like 100,000 hormones, so interaction is highly complex.

Why Blood-tests: the Hypnosis is structured & guided more precisely for success.

An angry & forced will-power - can send it the wrong message.
Also you have no idea why your own subconscious does, what it does.
There could be lots of reasons, including distress.
Remember,
your SUB-conscious is a million times stronger, than your conscious.
Please address is kindly, as you would a small child it acts to please you then.
Nice to see someone think about this, enough to give it a Go!!

Repeated positive Affirmations will, after weeks, months, & years, eventually work,
as you found out.
How about just using hypnosis, in the 1st. place
like for less than an hour, a few times.

Well, proper research eliminates the guess-work; by
starting with Baseline-levels, and after some change,
get Blood-levels measured again. This way you'll know.

When you're truly in hypnosis, there's no "try"; only DO...
Sure its up! for each of us. All the Best........ to you!
Waiting to hear, what else you achieved...!

What was the process for transferring your vocals from your microphone to audio city? I want to record my own affirmations and put them on a cd.
