I wasn't really sure where to put this thread, so this forum seemed like a good idea. If it's better suited somewhere else, feel free to move it.

Anyway....

There are 3 specific times in my life where a particular date meant life-altering changes in my life.

That date is July 16th.

As of this post, I can consciously recall 3 different July 16ths that had major, earth-shattering effects on my life.

My question is this...is there something I should be learning from this? Is it possible to have a particular date have significant importance to someone?

And my other question...does me, now knowing consciously that this particular date has had life-altering effects on me, affect the fact that this date may no longer hold those effects in the future?

I only ask because I get a little worried when that day approaches now. Because not all the changes have been good ones.

July 28th is also the day my grandfather died.

It's your ideas about July 16th that are making it such a big deal. Just change them now (decide on something positive) and have a smooth July 16th.

I personally plan on going shopping that day

You can decide to make that date whatever you wish!

I do that with my birthday. I make it a day for new beginnings or for re-charging my goals/intentions. I might do a goal-energizing ritual and/or generally just try to hold the intention that day of entering an even more powerful stage for my vision to unfold (etc).
Other days that I might use that way are New Years (especially the Lunar calendar New Years day), the Solstices, etc.

Something that seems to be hot in the LOA movement now is to write yourself a check for an amount of money you wish to manifest every time the New Moon rolls around (usually along with a “New Moon Abundance Ritual” of some sort). If you google “new moon abundance check” you’ll see… There are hundreds of web pages now on this topic!

The bottom line is that you can pick any date (new moons, full moons, birthdays, anniversaries, etc) and make that day special or meaningful in any way you choose, through any means you choose (ritual, special activities, etc) and for whatever purpose you choose.

Don’t be run by superstitious beliefs that a certain date (or anything) can bring bad things or changes you have no control over. You are the one with the power to determine what happens in your life!

Just as suggested you make that day a big deal (more than likely.. could have something to do with your theme/blueprint

) but you have to figure that out for yourself

Make this july date on 'purpose' go by with "no incidents" (if that's what you want) or purposely choose that it will have a neutral/positive outcome..

Just to be clear, I wasn't really looking for what I should *do* about that particular day.

I was looking more for explanations behind why this particular day has been of importance in my life. And whether now that I have figured it out, it will still hold that importance or if it's lost it's importance.

I read a whole lot about personality over the last three days and tried helping people on forums to see what I could contribute/how delicious I found it.

But there was lots of spontaneous, heavy rain despite it being bright and sunny outside. My uncle was working outside and he certainly didn't appreciate it.

Sudden change usually follows this number, but you don't have to fear it. Changes are many times blessings in disguise. If I were you, I'd use it to my advantage.

I hate to side track James' thread here, but, numerology has come up and for several months now I have been having an occurence happen and cannot find any meaning to it. A majority of the time, when I look at the clock, and it is mostly while in my bed the time will read with two of the same didgits encasing another. EX 6:46. One night I woke three times during the night and every time I looked at the clock the time was like that. 1:21, 2:32, 3:53 and so on and so on. I get in my car, look at the clock 7:47. WHY? What does that mean?

Pulled into my driveway one afternoon and realized my house numbers equal 11:11

Welp, it's time to ressurect this puppy as the day is fast approaching.

This year, instead of wondering what might happen to me on that day, I'm going to spend the next couple of weeks thinking about what decisions I can make on that day that would have profound life-changing effects on me.

Its interesting that you mentioned that. I was just noticing the same thing about July 13th. The only reason I noticed it is because this year my entire world was pulled from underneath me and this happens to be the day before my sisters Bday. I remember thinking this seems to be a theme, always on July 13th. My world was turned upside down. For me unimaginable things has happened and I am still dealing with it. My brain can't even sort through what this means yet.

I was born on July 28th and didn't really notice a significance until after everything happened this year and remembering what had just happened the previous year. Then realizing they both happened on the same day.

Not sure what it means but at this point, don't have the energy to care what it means. I just thought it was interesting that not only was some one thinking about something like this but posted it. I was just reading random posts, not really intending to reply.
