Om Gum Ganapataya Namaha!

This is very cool. Thanks for posting the link. I have just listened to the 108 repetition chant, and will continue to do so.

I look forward to posting something awesome in the next day or two.

Congratulations on your new job, StacyT!

You have to be a bit more patient. The whole process is 40 days of chanting and not siting and waiting for a miracle but "recognizing" the solution or even better crossing the threshold of the opened door. The biggest challenge is to recognize the open door.

Well, yes, I can agree with that statement... patience is always good.

I'm new to the discussion, but I'm a magnificent manifestor, too.... tweaking my technique here and there just for fun (OK... for fun & profit!).

So, I appreciate a new tool to play with, and I have some plans that would be great in 40 days, 30 days, or whenever is in the best and greatest good for all. So I will plan to report on that, and also intend that I am reporting back in a few days, too!

There was something I wanted to share, but got so excited reading the whole thread that I got sidetracked.

The Intenders of the Highest Good offers a daily/weekly-ish email with some great quotes and ideas, and the whole concept of the Intenders' Circle is wonderful. I would like to start one in my area, but have not taken action yet. OK, I guess I am now.

Has anyone any experience doing this? Any New Englanders out there who want to talk about it? (Hint, hint StacyT)

Wow, thanks for asking, I've been organizing my thoughts to cut to the most critical!

It's all about belief. Of course that's what keeps the LoA debate raging forever... so when you "aren't sure about all this IM stuff", you shoot yourself in the foot (collective you).

So, I think most everybody posting here already knows that.

But then, even though we know stuff cognitively, we still have those limiting beliefs that put us on autopilot. And frequently we can't step far enough back from ourselves to recognize them.

A few pages back was this comment:
Quote:
It's the LOA paradox: Those that would seek for personal gain do not get to instantly manifest. Some don't get to manifest intentionally at all. The Source is smarter than you. It doesn't give God power to greedy little fecks.
So, believing that creates a whole set of rules. Why believe that? I choose not to. I believe all things are possible and everything is available as long as we allow it into our experience. And we have been domesticated, so we've had lifelong educations aimed at squelching any natural IM skills that come as standard equipment.

I think a lot of what makes IM work for me is about things that don't seem related at first blush, but that are foundational. Principles that many would debate.

Such as:
  • The purpose of life is expansion and joy
  • Nothing is inherently good or bad, it's all our perspective
  • With enough distance, one can usually find a blessing in every curse or tragedy
  • I am an eternal being, a spiritual creature having a human experience.
And, if a lot of that sounds like Abraham, it probably is.

One thing I did was identify my strongest, easiest manifesting skill, and try to parallel it elsewhere. For me it's driving - I can clear traffic and know the best route to take. Even just being in the car, I don't have to drive. It's truly like magic, and I realized 2 things. 1 - I have no resistance to the idea; no conflicting thoughts, no concerns over deserving. 2 - I love to drive. I look forward to getting in my Beetle and driving anywhere from 2 miles to the store to a road trip to FL. I've always loved everything about driving, so don't have any negative concepts about road rage, other drivers, whatever.

I try to mirror the energy that comes with my driving intentions, since those are so easy. When I get into the same state of eager anticipation and belief, it's all fine.

So, my remaining challenge is dollar abundance. I have good heath, a loving family, a wonderful home...

and debt.

Now, I see some challenges for me in this area: As a young adult, my mantra was "I love a challenge". It was a way to face problems and learn and grow, and when I took on the mantra of "Everything always works out for me", then I started getting faster resolutions, but still get those challenges to work out!

My money thing for years was "I always have plenty and all my needs are met". And I have great material abundance, but that mantra doesn't deliver great cash flow!

I could talk about my mother's Depression-Era-upbringing consciousness and how it effected me, yada yada. And, there it is - I just had to bring it up, didn't I? We are so addicted to explaining and justifying our lack, that we have these endless habitual loops.

So, I just focus on happiness. I think that a big piece of this is also love. Pure, clear, vibrant love that isn't conflicted or tinged with guilt, obligation or any type of should. I've decided that the more fun I have, the happier I am, the more I can uplift those around me and intend that it continues out into the world in waves.

I love the Ganesh Mantra you shared, because the vibration of words in a different language, combined with a certain intent, can break through past conditioning in interesting ways. The Kaballah Code, a novel by James Twyman is another resource that involves praying using 10 variations of the names of God. I've been playing with that, too.

That was a lot of rambling. Sorry.

Another shortcut? Something that short circuits your mental fabric and jolts your world view. Whatever that is for any of us.

I look forward to comments!

Well You, I will need to read this at least once again. O love the energy coming out of it but need to go over the driving-IM analogy

My next mantra is going to be the Om Kleem Shreem Lakshmi for abundance

This is the same thing I do. Whenever I am happy about anything (could be just eating a chocolate chip cookie), I attach that energy to whatever I am intending at the moment.

Does anyone else get what I call "stomach bursts"? It's a feeling that is so purely happy and you feel almost like you are going to burst. Comes from the stomach and rises quickly through the torso and out the head. When I get one of those, I imagine my intention hanging on for the ride and shooting out of me.

And, are you going to share your shortcut?

I've got one. We all know that we need faith and belief, or it doesn't work. This is why old blocks are so effective. I've been using Ho'oponopono for 2 years now, and it works on everything but my most stubborn blocks, because it's about taking responsibility.

Re my most stubborn blocks, even though I take responsibility, this is somehow like "believing" in them, and seems to make them just as strong.

Recently, I've stopped "asking" and am just giving thanks. Instead of giving thanks in general for the many positives in my life, and asking my intuition each morning for help with those things I would like to improve ($), the other day I gave thanks for something I wanted to happen.

In 45 minutes or so, someone called which meant that someone else had left that position, and I was asked to do some work for them. That's pretty instant....

Now, I am not negating all the work that I did, the groundwork that was laid with the aid of my intuition, but I do think that switching from request (which affirms some lack) to gratitude made a fast sea-change.

Now, I'm quoting Thom Hartmen when asked how he is: "I'm great but getting better!"

Default Gratitude in IM-statements & affirmations

Giving thanks for what you’re manifesting is powerful both because of the power of gratitude itself and because it sends out a signal of certainty (that you are so sure that you’ll have it that you’re already giving thanks in advance).

I think it was Bob Proctor (in the “Secret?”) who suggested the following line,

“I am so happy and grateful now that I have [my new car or whatever]…”

I’ve been using variations of this in my IM-statements/affirmations for some time with good results. I use lines like,

“How full of gratitude and good feelings I am, knowing that [whatever] is manifesting (or that I have [whatever])!”

-----------------
Strem2:
How do you use Ho'oponopono in your I-M’ing?
Is it that “I’m sorry, please forgive me….” line (can’t recall whole thing now), or is there more to this practice?

I just couldn't wait to get here to post to you guys when this happened today.

I (like a lot of us) have been intending money recently. After reading the above posts about thanks in advance for the intention, I started saying thanks for my money and my overflowing bank account. I realized that I had not intended a certain amount and thought I should do that. I wanted the universe to know exactly what I want.

Well, today on the way to the grocery store, my son was playing an electronic game that involves being asked questions and winning money (Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader...if you know that game). He's asking me to help him answer questions and then wins the contest....

THE EXACT AMOUNT OF MONEY THAT I HAD INTENDED THIS MORNING (not an easy basic number, either)!

Thanks universe. Not quite what I was after...but you'll it get right eventually!

I did the mantra chant Wednesday morning and Wednesday evening.

Friday I called my mortgage company to make my house payment. I've been on a repayment plan which is significantly higher than my usual payment, because when I was having so much financial trouble in 2007 I got far behind on payments. It was a huge major endeavor to accomplish the acceptance of this payment plan. At one point they actually had put the house into the foreclosure process, and it took me half a year to get it out of foreclosure. Practically every day since then, I've had an underlying anxiety/fear that something would happen to make everything fall apart and I'd be back in that situation again.

Anyway, Friday I called my mortgage company to make my house payment, and the guy said he sees that I've been approved for a loan modification and my payments are now $300 lower than what I've been paying on the repayment plan. In fact, they're lower than what my standard payment used to be.

I can't even begin to tell you how huge this is. I was speechless. I was stammering into the phone. This company, which is an umbrella holder of mortgages held by banks, and I have been working for 1-1/2 years to get the individual investor bank to approve a loan modification and they had turned down every single proposal.

At the end of June, they said I should apply under the new government mortgage plan. It took several weeks before they sent me the paperwork, which is very long and involved, and I put it on a table to work on one of these afternoons.

Friday, the guy told me the loan mod had been approved on June 26. I have no idea how that could be, since I'd called the first week of July to make the (large) house payment and nobody said anything about it.

I was so disbelieving that I called again Saturday, and they assured me that yes, the loan mod has been approved.

You guys -- I never even sent in the paperwork.

I can't even tell you how huge this is. (I think I already said that. ) It gives me room to breathe. It gives me a chance finally to pay everything else I'm behind on instead of constantly making minimum payments and having to keep negotiating with everybody.

They're dropping the interest rate and lowering the payments . . . and taking two years from the middle of the loan and either moving them to the back of the loan or redistributing them over the rest of the loan.

That two years comes out to just about $15,000, the specific amount I've been manifesting for.

I can't even begin to tell you how huge this is.

I do have one qualification to mention

I do realize this is not technically $15,000 cash income. It's going to be a gigantic help though, because having more money means being able to pay off other bills which means I'll soon have more money because it won't all be going to interest payments all the time.

Next . . . more income!!!

Are there alternatives to these mantras? Nothing against Lakshmi, but I don't much feel like singing her praises 4320 times

But see, I was thinking I have to be careful with this, because really, it's a type of credit. Although in a sense it's not credit because it's not borrowing more money. It's also not something I can turn into cash today. But it's sort of cash because it allows me to pay off bills and stop paying interest on them. And I also should be able to turn it into cash in the future, once house prices go back up!

This was a huge breakthrough, but there is another breakthrough waiting in the wings . . .

By the way, it would be cool if you're right, that somebody's going to give me $15,000 in free stocks and bonds today!

I am not very knowledgeable about these mantras, but I'll try anything. Do you have to say them yourself or can you download and listen to them?

You can chant them out loud or you can repeat them silently in your mind.

Best to do them in the morning or before sleep or whenever I have time?

There are supposed to be 2 ways, you do 108 japa (with a mala) morning and evening or you do it in your head all the time when it is not "occupied" whit other things. You repeat it silently while you drive, ride on a bus or a train, cook... what ever...
