Ah, but a while ago in a different thread I was led to conclude that a call for help is a subtle suggestion to myself that I am weak/helpless, an intention I want to avoid like the plague! How can I do this non-paradoxically?

Sometimes a call for help can be a sign of strength.... It can most certainly signal an openness.

When I am asking for help, rather than just manifesting, I am actually calling on my higher self. This is signaling my intuition/higher self/spirit guides that I am going to be looking for particular assistance/growth in this area.

And then, attend. As Stacy noticed the truck with the "sign" on the side. My answers tend to be more auditory. I was having trouble telling the difference between my ego chat and my intuition. Andrea Hess told me that intuition comes as a simple statement. The ego always comes with arguments and explanations. The intuition simply says "Do this" or "This is so" and then is quiet. So, you have to listen....

Perhaps you'll hear a lyric you didn't attend to before... But, it is ok to ask your higher power, because that's like asking yourself.... Hey, it is asking yourself! And, believing.

That's a great question, Waxie!

We're all in this together, and you and I are both stronger in certain areas and weaker in others. My asking you for assistance in an area in which I'm weak is not helplessness; it's a natural joy for humans to come together and complement one another -- and generate synergy.

It's fun to help others, isn't it, when you have so much power that it's only enhanced, never diminished, by giving it away? You wouldn't want to live only on one side of that equation, would you? That would be stingy and selfish, and kind of yucky.

You can notice your own weakness, and request assistance in that area, without being helpless, by remembering never to forget to notice your strength, too -- and your own generosity in both providing and accepting. Your own power is limitless, and the real help you get is basically help to access your own inner resources. And the real help you provide to others is the same -- helping them to be present to their own limitless power.

God, it's wonderful, isn't it? I'm so glad we're here together.

I was sloppy/lazy and didn't provide proper context with my prior post; my referenced thread had specifically do to with asking for 'astral' aid in manifesting Your point still applies though - whether they are independent beings or just hidden aspects of myself, there still may be something out there that can help me with my IM 'blind spots', and others...

Someone on another thread (iamhappy) said the trick is to just manifest being good at manifesting. Problem solved! Well, I'm going to try it anyway, I'll let you know how it works out
