Default Job Position Attraction tips for a newly aware

I have recently become enlightened to the law of attraction, and I need to organize my thoughts on an event that appears to have manifested yesterday and I would like to take this a step further.

Last week I had one of those 'moments', where everything clicked, the right book at the right moment, and suddenly the flood lights were going off everywhere. I am not new to LOA concept, but I am new to grasping it fully and having it fit into my growth focus at the moment.

I am now in the process of absorbing as much as I can on this new path, all the implications around it, the process, changing habits, ect. I am listening to book after book, and writing down thoughts and ideas as fast as I can process it, but there is only so much time available in the day so I need some quick advice to hold me over........

Over the weekend I worked on a large problem that is frustrating me, which is my lack of focus at work. There are several variables causing this, the largest one being that I am bored out of my mind. Boredom = lack of motivation = lack of productivity. I am currently working on alternate sources of income more in line with my beliefs and interests, but I expect likely 12 months before it is at a reasonable income level to consider eliminating my 'day job' so to speak. Plus, my current position is financially able to help me put away savings to make my other path possible.

In the meantime, I am still trying to be productive and an asset to the current company that employes me. I take pride in my work, no matter what I am doing.

I spent the weekend laying out a visual plan for what it looks like if I am productive all day....my email, my to do list, my desk, the feelings I would have in that state, and so forth. I really put myself into the visual.

Monday morning, I come in, and there is an email in my box about an area I had inquired on over 6 months ago. On wednesday I chatted with the new manager over that area, and while their is no position open up at this time, he wanted to know if I was still interested and to keep me on the 'prospect' list. Now, this position is SUPER up my alley, I would love to do this. Even if it was just for a year or two, this would be a job I would have no issues with motivation on, there would be no boredom, and it would also allow me some growth in areas I would like (public speaking, presentations, ect). It may even help my savings further.

Coincidence, I don't think so!

So here is the catch, there are no openings right now. None expected at this time, and a random guess by the manager is 6-12 months at the soonest (grrr). Unless someone quits, or suddenly funding becomes available to hire a new position, there is no opening.

Time to manifest I am thinking.

So, since I am new to this, and I have a lot of mixed emotions around my future career path, I need advice.

What are the best thoughts for me to lay down right now to manifest an opening for this job position? Any suggestions on best going about this? While I am spending as much time as I can learning all about LOA and the process, I am still super green. I would like to create clear thoughts right now while this is fresh, before my busy mind confuses the situation even more.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Mike Dooley, suggests that you master where you are before you try to move on.

This is really good advice. You did this! You took time on the weekend to work on your focus, and then on Monday morning the other manager emailed you. See how that worked?

Keep doing that. Focus on what's in front of you, and keep your feeling of "click". That's the right vibration for you. Just keep going one step at a time. Stay in the present.

Enjoy your life!

Byron Katie says something simple and profound.
Quote:
The Universe loves you and wants you to be happy. If something makes you miserable or worried, it will take it away.
Enjoy your work. If you don't... see above. I have always noticed how miserable people look on the way to work, and voila, look at how many people are losing their jobs.... Stay in the moment. There's always something to enjoy about it.
