LOA By products

I was talking with someone earlier who wants to use LOA with the intention of disposing of quite a valuable asset. She has been trying for a while with no success. (Neither of us are very experienced with LOA though I often use it successfully when waiting for a bus going my way!)

On close questioning, it appears that disposing of the asset will release quite a large sum of money (about $40000) and she has no need for a sum of money that big (we have done an "if I were a millionaire.." exercise and there is very little she would change in her life).

We were wondering whether the problem is that by manifesting the disposal of the asset (for non-financial reasons) she will also manifest all this money and until she figures out what she would do with the money - save it, spend it (on what?) give it away, whatever, she will not be able manifest the asset disposal.

What are your thoughts?

This will sound a little crazy, but your friend should go to alpha, hold an imaginary conversation with the asset and tell it lovingly that it's time to move on to someone else who will have a good use for it and will appreciate it more.

That sounds like a fantastic "issue" to have. Hell, it kind of makes me happy that someone could end up in that situation. Anyway, I have no related experience or resulting opinion. ALG's thought sounds very worth a try though.

Well, why are the reasons it has not been a success?? you don't need to understand LOA to manifest success in anything.. To get her to success you have to bypass belief systems that were holding back said manifestation..

I guess my point is this is a bit of warning that may need to be addressed..

You don't have to imagine spending the money.. you just have to reach a good feeling place about whatever it is you want.. and of course it's helpful to release..

No, that's not crazy, actually not a bad idea at all. Resonates with me from when I made the decision to give away a sewing machine my late grandma had given me - I don't sew, can't sew, don't want to know how to sew, but had this very very sentimental item to let go of.

I guess we could figure out an intention along the lines of letting the asset go and trusting the universe to show her the way with the money when she receives it. I shall pass it on.

No but seriously, if I wanted to give away a chunk of money I would give it to a place/person/business/charity that inspires me the most.

Maybe I'd buy all of my favorite books/movies and donate them to local libraries so that tons of people would be able to benefit for years to come...
