Default do happier thoughts get better results?

Do you get bad results if you set an intention and put no emotion into it?
Do you get better results if you put a lot of (good) emotion into it?

I personally get better results if I let my wish just go... detach emotionally. The more I put feelings into something the more it seems I feel the lack of it. But I suppose it is different for everybody. I think I have a limiting belief that it is not OK to live in this imaginary world of wishes and not in the here and now - so I don't feel as if I had something already. But when it is so close that I can almost feel it physically I "lock" onto or into it and don't let go until it is there in my life.

Not really. If you simply concentrate when you visualize, i don't think it matters if you feel particularly positive or negative. It doesn't seem to be a requirement or anything.

It’s simple. The quality of your thoughts determine the quality of your life.

I think when you enter into any situation with an expectation then you are liable for disappointment. Having goals is good, carrying an expectation of how those goals are going to come to pass is not good. For example if we "expect" to receive $10 and then we only get $5 then we are disappointed. However, if your goal is to make $10 with no expectation of how you are going to receive the $10 then the $5 blessing will get you excited b/c you are now halfway there.
