I've spent the past 2-3 years manifesting changes in myself and my relationships with great success, and have also managed to manifest a few material things on the side (a cheap apartment and cushy summer job in NYC, slightly improved finances). I've learned that manifesting significant changes takes time and patience...smaller things seem to manifest overnight, but larger changes usually take between a few weeks and a few months. I now have a great life, great friends, and am constantly having great experiences that just seem to keep building off of each other and getting better and better. Anyway, I've decided recently to shift my focus to building wealth and improving my finances. I am currently going into my last year of college. It did not take long for me to realize how much more comfortable my life will be with higher income and money saved away. I'm 21 now, and I recently set a goal for myself that I believe is totally attainable: - Buy a million dollar apartment in my favorite Manhattan neighborhood before I'm 30 (natural disasters aside, i am totally committed to staying in the city for that long. i've wanted to live here since I was 12, moved here when I was 17, and haven't looked back), and have money left over to live comfortably, save, and travel extensively. Doing crude math, this means my minimum annual income should be around $300k. This income must come from fulfilling, altruistic endeavors. In order to even be comfortable with aspiring to this goal, I had to change my ideas and attitudes about money and wealth. I am not a materialistic person, grew up in a middle-income family, and as such had a lot of trouble believing that I was allowed to want wealth and financial comfort. Now that I've actually decided to go for it, my strategy has been to beef up my personal finance knowledge and to take some early steps toward saving money and building good credit, even though my current income as a college student is paltry (though I am fortunate to have no credit card debt and far less college debt than most people I know). I think that knowledge and awareness of money is crucial groundwork to lay in manifesting lots of it! I am curious to know other people's wealth manifestation experiences, positive and negative. What has worked for you and what hasn't? Also, if anybody wants to co-manifest with me, let's go for it! The mutual support and dialogue could help everyone involved. All the best, ohTen. Believe in yourself and it will happen. I've already exceeded the $300,000 annual mark you mentioned. Yet four years ago, in 2005 (the year before I first heard about the LOA), I was only earning about $90,000. (I really shouldn't say "only" .... because $90,000 is a pretty decent amount and nothing to scoff at). | |

Hi, I actually got it the other way around. My main desire for wealth was in order to live independently and securely. A series of event made me realize that I in fact needed way less money than I thought to achieve that goal. |

i've already had some rapid early results...amazing really! a second small source of income fell into my lap recently. it's under-the-table money for 5 hours a week of work that i can accomplish while at my main job. there's the potential for more money, it'll look great on a resume, and i didn't have to go through any trouble to get it! i also was offered a great internship that i was going to apply for anyway, without having to apply for it at all! this will also look great on a resume and make it easier to get a job out of college. i am increasingly feeling that i will be fine when i graduate next spring. i'm super grateful and super excited. best wishes to everybody else manifesting money in their lives! |
