I had a slightly different problem, one that caused me SEVERE panic attacks when I was young, but I've learned to sort of cope with since - sometimes I could visualize, sometimes I couldn't!

At a very young age, I stumbled across Richard Bach's 'Illusions' [and] gave it a go. It forever changed my P.O.V. The notion that our perceptions weave the fabric of our world made so much sense to me, I found it hard to believe that I could have seen it any other way...

I have many fine examples in my life of how much truth lies in the idea of how easily reality can be radically altered by merely changing skew. I can't be convinced otherwise at this point. As you master reality, you quickly move away from simply removing the unwanted till the unwanted never comes into existence. The less importance you give to things, the easier it becomes. Soon all things become equally important because nothing is important at all.

KJ haunts me deeply. I'm partly hoping that passing along some of his words might act almost as an exorcism, not in a "Demon, begone!" sense, but maybe the memory of him won't seem so weirdly uncertain if I can "pin him down" in front of a new audience. It's almost like I feel an urge to prove to myself that he was real, but then maybe that's the whole point of his entering my experience - to prove that he WASN'T real (?!?!?)

In another thread I said I was trying to hold to the idea that old good things must pass to make room for new ones - turns out that KJ used almost this exact wording in another of his posts!
