I was not sure if I should put this in the fitness threads, but I am having trouble deciding what I want to manifest in terms of my fitness. I really like the idea of choosing an image that I aspire to and using it to guide my progress, but I'm not sure if I can really choose one specific image at this point, since I'm not toally sure what I want. Should I just choose several images that I like for now? How can I narrow down my intention? |

I tend to prefer general terms, instead of affirming/imaging specific details of “fitness.” For example, inserting the umbrella term “well-being” into some of my affirmations about my more moneyed good life that I’m manifesting. As in: “…It feels soo good to enjoy all this wealth and well-being!” I also sometimes see/feel myself living this richer, healthy life... like hiking while I breathe deep & feel robust, and then returning to my dream 2nd-home (that I’m manifesting), and yoga-stretching there, etc (like mini-movies) Abraham says that if you don’t focus on ‘ill-health’ that well-being flows naturally… that we don’t have to try to manifest health… it just happens naturally unless we screw it up with “negativity.” (Of course healthy lifestyle choices are also important!). I used to have allergies and a lot of colds when I was younger but several years ago I gave all that up. I quit believing in allergies & colds and stopped seeing myself as a person prone to them. So maybe that was more like giving up an image or picture of myself. |

wow! That is so cool you were able to get rid of the allergies and colds! Yeah, i guess I just need to see myself as fit in the way I want to be. I had heard that it helps to focus on a specific image, but i can just as well think up one in my head, and it's probably even better to imagine myself as fit Thanks! |

Instead of trying to create a clear image, try focusing on how you'll FEEL once you are fit and have the body you want to have. How does that feel to you? How does it change your daily activities, your relationship with people, your lifestyle, etc? Envision those things and how they make you feel and the actual image of being fit won't matter so much. Because if you can feel NOW what being fit feels like to you, enjoy that feeling, while accepting where you are (in other words, eliminating the resistance of what not being fit feels like) and looking forward to the journey, then the rest falls into place on its own, including the image you're having a hard time visualizing.
