Or even an interview? Just curious. Just last week I began sending out resumes. Got a few offers this week however neither are what I truly want. Yesterday I sent two resumes for two positions, both of which I am easily qualified for, both of which I would be absolutely thrilled to get. Any recommendations of any visualization exercises, anything like that? Thanks. |

I wanted to recommend this thread for interviews... Lack interview skills, No job- Why? It sounds like you are doing great if you only started last week and already have a few offers! |

I've got a few funny experiences regarding jobs: I wanted to have a tan all year around and I manifested a part time job in a tanning salon. I wanted as a student a job which gave me lots of time to sit and study and indeed I manifested a job as a security guard sat on a chair reading most of the shift. I wanted to spend one winter skiing and I found a job in a winter resort. I wanted to spend a winter in the Caribbean and I landed a job in a cruise liner around that area. I wanted to watch plenty of movies and I worked in a Film festival... And many more wishes that turned out as jobs... Although when I put the intention for a specific job in an auction house when I was an art student and I visualised myself doing what I thought the job was about; soon after I came across an advert from a reputed action house asking for a bilingual weekend telephone bidder I found that amazing because I spoke both required languages and I wanted weekend only work so altogether I thought I created the perfect job or at least it was 'signs of land' I sent my CV and never got a reply so I stopped desiring this job because I felt disappointed that such a bespoke job passed me by. I truly wanted it but now I know I was underqualified for that vacancy at the time, that´s one of my doubts about LOA if you are not suitable for the vacancy how can the universe bend the rules for you? |

Oh yeah, I manifested a fantastic job. Even if you don't know exactly what your dream job is (I didn't, for example I don't care about the industry I work in) focus on all the characteristics you want that job to have. For me it was a high level of responsibility, a challenge, a high international component, a link with both my fields of study (engineering and entrepreneurship), a small but highly passionate team, an opportunity for further learning and growth. I got all these. Maybe you also have criteria about the salary, the benefits or the working hours. If something that's not quite it yet comes along, focus on the positives of the jobs instead of the fact that it's not your dream job - it's partially your dream job! |

Yup. I graduated with a major in journalism but figured out that wasn't what I wanted to do. I wanted a job in webdesign. And so I got one. Not the best in the world and after eight months I was saying to myself "when this consultancy job ends, I'm going to find a new job". The day my manager at the consultancy job I was doing for my company said that they wouldn't need me that much anymore, I got a phone call for a job interview. A friend of mine had told his boss about me and my skills. He figured out he needed a new graphic designer and called me. That's basically how I found my work.

Ten years ago I got a much higher-paying new job and a new relationship by doing Wayne Dyer's "Ah Meditation" from his book Meditations for Manifesting for a couple of months. I did it diligently morning and night. I concentrated on general prosperity, not anything specific. I was going through a divorce and didn't even want a relationship. I wish I could still do it, but it takes some loud vocalization and there's no place I could do it without waking everyone else up at 5 a.m. |

Everyone who has a job has "manifested" it. That word "manifest" sounds as if some miracle has to take place when actually, you could walk out your door and probably instantly meet several people who have jobs. You don't want just any job? Then start talking to the ones who have the kind of job you want and ask them how they "manifested" it. Anyway, Abraham-Hicks would suggest doing a simple virtual reality exercise. Visualize already having your new job, feel it, enjoy it, live it a few times a day for 20 minutes. Then your vibration will start to match that of your desired position. |

i manifested a job without even knowing it while working at one job i went to another on i think lunch or something and i got the feeling of already being in the place working. Also i had spoke with a employee about working there. So that really got me in the sense of being able to get a job there. Now i am doing that with another place to make it possible. And @ michelle i'm going to start doing that 20 minutes of visualization i've been slipping lately |

Yes I believe I manifested one place I wanted to work at, but as it turned out I hated it - ha ha! But at least now I know what it was like. I then didn't manifest a specific place, but rather what I wanted my job to be like and the types of "jobs". Yes I work a number of jobs. Now that's working out much, much better. Pretty content I must say |

I was trying to manifest something free at an industry event I was involved in for three days. There were many small giveaways and such, for small items that would have little impact. I wanted to hit it big, though, so I focused and did some networking etc. By the end of the event, I got a job offer for a dream-job like position that I ended up accepting! I don't really condone the use of jobs, but they can certainly have their acute benefits. Manifest what you wish :P |

In Septemeber I interviewed for a job that I really wanted. I made it to the final round where I was up against one other candidate. We had to fly to Chicago for the final interview and I was not offered the position. I was really devastated. The hiring manager told me he wanted to offer me the position but it was up to the RVP, who chose the other person. I decided it to write down all the characteristics of the perfect job and what I was truly looking for. I composed a whole page of characteristics and what the job would be like. Then the very last sentence I wrote, but I really want that other job. A couple of months later, I checked the company's website and saw that there was a posting for the same position but in a different part of the state. One of the requirements of the job is that you live in the territory. This was on a Tuesday evening. I emailed the manager that I saw the posting and that I would consider relocating. He emailed me back immediately and by Friday, I had a formal offer. Now I have my perfect job and I love it! |

Yes, but I ended up leaving it. I was and HR Manger in a Greek bank. They bought my bank and we were going through a merger with them. Hell is a nice place, try mergers and being the HR!!!!! So as I drove to work every day I wished I could work in a French bank in the new building I saw them build in the new part of town. It was their new headquarters. Beautiful structure. I wished to be an Executive Manager there, visit Paris all the time on business trips.... And I got an offer from a headhunter no more than 3 months later. I was offered the position of an Executive Manager!!! I got a 300% higher salary!!! I stayed there for 2 years and went through some big changes with them also and one day just resigned. I felt as if I was suffocating there. I am manifesting a whole new career now. Hated banking really, although I was highly successful in it (obviously). The only thing good about it was the money and the seductiveness of power. It was so funny trying to find my baring for weeks. Asking myself what was I now? I wasn't the big shot banker any more. Who was I? So I became me again. |

A friend wanted to move to Majorca, and start a new job ... I suggested she place a written statement and photo in the North of her existing home. She was on her way within a month or so :-) Significantly I feel, she made a point of telling me she would do it, because she TOTALLY BELIEVED! |

I liked my job, but not my hours and such. I wanted to do something I enjoied more and I wanted more time to work at home instead of at the office and now I have everything I wanted and more. I only come into the office on Mon and Tues. The rest of the week I'm home and I work on a website (Compare law of attraction products and services, increase abundance, wealth, improve love, relationships, receive miracles with the law of attraction.). I do hte newsletters, a blog, and get to play around on forums as much as I want. It is the perfect job for me. If I get all my work done on Wednesday I have the rest of the week to relax. I get to sleep late 5 days a week now. I love it. I get to work when I want and I save so much money on food and gas and all that. I can wear my pajamas to bed, go to walmart in the middle of a weekday when it's less crowded. I can work all day or all night or a little each day. I absolutely love it. |

I got the opportunity to work for a multi-national headhunting firm (R&B), par-time, and I could choose my own schedule. The managing partner was the daughter of some friends of my parents, and there were just 2 more research executives working there - 2 very interesting girls. It was a nice atmosphere, but also challenging. I had trouble handling the cold calls, plus that I had to lie in order to get in touch with the candidates themselves (to get past the secretaries who could not know the true reason why we were calling). I learned a lot, but after a while I left. But when I thought I wanted it, I manifested it in a jiffy. | |

I manifest jobs like crazy. When I manifest for a job, job opportunities come to me even before I apply for a single job or send out my CV. They come on the very same day that I start manifesting for a job. Eg I manifest for a job in the morning, and later that afternoon, my phone is ringing and someone is calling me to offer a job. Still .... I have told all those stories before, and I don't feel like repeating them today. Anyway, just wanted to reassure the OP that LOA can work very well for jobs (just as it can work very well for about a zillion other things under the sun). |
