how do you know when youve got the 'million dollar idea'?

I set an intention a week ago to get 2 million. It was really an experiemnt to see what would happen. I genuinely believed I would be presented with an idea, an opportunity etc and was interested to see what would come up.
Last night I had an idea for a product which is novel and I think there may be a need for it. However, i often come up with ideas for producst anyway so Im not sure if this one is Divinely inspired or specifically related to my intention.
I dont want to risk anything this early on unless Im sure this is 'The Idea.'
Does God/the universe give more synchs with this sort of thing i.e. should I now expect to read an article about how there should be a product like mine (for example)?

I set an intention to win a lucky draw. The first prize is $30,000. The draw is sometime in August.

It's a charity donation draw thing, that my son brought home from school. I bought the entire pack of tickets at one go. Then I thought: "Mmmm. Maybe I could turn this into an LOA experiment."

So I've manifesting to win the first prize. It is an interesting exercise, I get to experiment with different LOA methods on it.

If I win, I'll give $10,000 back to the charity.

I would need to be sure this is the dream to chase first becasue I dont want to waste time and money on a wild goose chase. And I dont want to leave my job

The Universe sounds like it's been knocking but you haven't been answering the door.

What makes you think it will just hand you a million dollar idea with a huge neon sign pointing to it that says "YOUR MILLION DOLLAR IDEA HAS ARRIVED!!"?

What if three ideas ago, if you had implemented that idea, it would have led you to a man who would promote your idea and give you seven more great ideas, one of which was your million dollar one?

What if your fifth idea ago, you would have travelled to Asia to find a suitable manufacturer and while there, you met people with ideas of their own that were supposed to partner with you and together you create many millions of dollars?

THAT is how LOA works....

Every idea is potentially "THE ONE" but you will never know, if you don't act.

PS: who says your million will only come from one of them?

Your second post shows how limited you are still thinking. Bad place to try and manifest from.

hmmm so I should just waste my life chasing a dream that will never happen. been there done that. In the Secret one of the guys said he had an idea but before he acted on it he got several other pointers before he knew that he should go with it. I think it would be incredibly foolish of me to quit my job and geta loan in a recession just to chase an idea which may or may not be the one that was divinely inspired

Sorry, I didnt mean to make such a cynical sounding reply. What I mean though is that its not that I dont want to take any action, I just dont want to take the wrong action and end up failing because I chased the wrong idea. Ormaybe there is no wrong idea once you have set the intention?

Noooo, the odds are much worse than that.

I bought a packet of 10 tickets. The draw is jointly organised by a Catholic organisation in my country and sold through dozens of churches and Catholic schools. I expect that there are tens of thousands of tickets sold.

Or maybe, like the myth of there being a "soul mate" for every person, you could have any number of great ideas be successful for you and it's less about the idea than about the effort you wish to put in.

The fact that you are getting multiple ideas is almost proof of what I am saying. Most people get none.

If you perform a successful "treatment" or technique with faith in that technique you will have to succeed, you will be drawn or guided to your objective. You will be compelled from within to perform the right actions, make the right choices, etc.... Just set the intention to "do the next right thing" and then just get on with your life, it will happen naturally.

Ok, you don't have to quit your job to write a book. You don't need a loan to write a book. If you think it has a chance of being a good idea then start writing it when you're not at work. As you begin to write you'll know if this is the big idea or one of the big ideas. You can have faith in your idea and not stop doing what pays the bills right now.

Sometimes you know because you feel that feeling of inspiration, like you want to act it on it right now!

This reminds me of a story. I was sitting at an Ultimate Fighting Championship event with my friend Bas Rutten Bas Rutten MMA System (for those who don't know who he is) and some guy walked by wearing a shirt that says "Tequila Shot" on the front with big letters. Just then I had an idea that we should make a shirt that said "Liver Shot" on the front and on the back show Bas using it to knock someone out as that was his favorite punch.

I told it to Bas, he said "let's do it" and when we came back that Monday I put it into action. We ended up selling hundreds of those shirts over the next year.

From my observations, most people actually do get ideas--even multiple ideas. But rather than take them seriously, or take any kind of action to see them into reality, they brush (or even forcibly shove) them aside.

"It's a nice fantasy, but..."
"It sounds good, but involves too much risk."
"I'm not smart enough to make it happen."
"The last time I tried following one of my crazy inspirations, I failed. I'm not repeating that mistake."

So they might receive a "million dollar idea"--but they have too many fear-based barriers in their way to do anything with it.

Every single one of those statements is based in fear. And when you're acting from fear? You're not going anywhere. Trying to manifest your desires by using the LoA, while at the same time being too afraid to take the actions that would allow your desire into your life, means that you aren't going to get what you want.

That fear also keeps you attached to outcome: that idea has to make you a million dollars, and unless you're sure it's going to, you don't want it. Never mind that acting on the idea could very well put you in a position to meet the right people, learn the ropes of a new business, break through old patterns of resistance, and otherwise bring you into alignment with the million-dollar idea, so that when it comes you can act on it immediately.

If you're like me, the synchs you get will be seeing that someone else has made pots of money off an idea for a book, product, or service I once received, but didn't bother to follow up on because I didn't think it was a "sure thing."

Sometimes the actions you take on idea 1 will lead you to idea 2 and then idea 2.1 is really what makes you rich.

I think you are using this not getting the flashing neon sign as an excuse to do nothing toward your dream.

As well, the "fear" based idea that you can't afford to make a mistake on this indicates you aren't in the correct mindset for manifestation anyway.

I think some people call it "paralysis through analysis."

how do you suppose many people where able to have a million dollar idea?

When you keep visualising million dollars or an equivalent of million dollars and suddenly you get an inspiration to take some great action and you just feel that this action is the key to such abundance.

Maybe the Universe wants to, and is ready to, give you a ten million dollar idea but you keep only asking for 2 million.
