IM for positive people

I am needing help in figuring out how to IM for positive people in my life.

One thing I have a question about is a negative relative who is in my life right now. With IM, should I intend that this person leave my life? Or is it better to intend that he become positive? Should I intend that I stay away from him as much as possible? Or that I am able to get away from him? Or should I just focus on manifesting more positive people and try to ignore him (and any other negative people) completely in my thoughts?

I have been having negative thoughts about him, but I am glad that my negative thoughts have diminished from what they used to be, and I am interacting with him more positively, which seems to be helping.

However, I do see this individual as an overall unhealthy, negative, and unsupportive person based on the majority of his behavior.

Should I try to visualize him as a better person?

Any sharing of experiences with similar situations using IM would be greatly appreciated.

I've always been taught with manifesting that it's a big cosmic no no to try and force our manifestations onto other people. That even if we have the power, we do not have the right.

My sister was struggling with her husband being unemployed for a long time. But rather than manifest that he gets off his butt and gets a job, I manifested that I live a life free from worry about all of the people in my life, family and friends. That they were happy, healthy and happily employed, for the greater good.

Then it's more about you. Not about you forcing your IM judgement upon others.

It did work, BTW. He's got a great job now that still allows time for his musical aspirations. The best part was, my mom got a job too.

Thanks! That makes a lot of sense. I will definitely make a similar intention to the one you suggested - something along the lines of everyone being able to move in the direction that is healthy and feeling peaceful myself regarding everyone.

I just had a good thought!

I have been affirming "positive people come into my life", and I just had the feeling that a positive person has come into my life, and it's ME! wow! great feeling

You are a walking contradiction.. don't manifest in people’s lives.. and then you do, it doesn't have to be a negative to manifest in people's lives.. after all technically speaking all those people are here for you.. just as in a way I’m here for you..

The only point I'm trying to make is you made a definition that there was a negative way to manifest in people’s lives and a positive way.. and I'm just pointing out said "definition"

You could pick it apart any way you want but basically there is nothing wrong with my desiring that all my loved ones are happy and healthy, for the greater good. It's my selfish desire.

I didn't make any demands on how he was going to find a job, how much it would pay, when he would start...Just that my friends and family have happiness and prosperity.

Which is all I did. I do that for the whole world anyway. Global affirmations are not a contradiction to the rules, nor are they unethical.

Well, I have been intending "the people in my life interact harmoniously" and it's totally working!!!

The people who were kind of arguing with each other - one of them has made a very conscious decision to stop, and has been treating the other in a very calm way, and it really seems to be working and going well.
