Former Christian and in deep trouble, HELP!

Hi everyone! :-)))

Now that that's done, excuse my brevity, but I am in deep trouble, like on the street trouble unless I get hired soon.

I am an experienced IT Engineer, and have been getting offer after offer for work. I do the interviews, and things go great, but nothing ever pans out!

I have about 1 week left before I am broke. My fiance' I was engaged to messed me over, broke my heart, slept with another man and stole my cash. I ended up quitting my job and moving as I could not deal with what happened; I came close to suicide. She basically laughed at what she heard about me from a friend! SICK...

I went to Iraq and did some work, came back and moved to Texas (from California). I have had nothing but problems. Interviews go great, but then I don't get the offer letters I expected (for employment).

I do believe in manifesting goals and have done it. I used to be a Christian but got sick of the guilt and feeling bad whenever I was doing well and making money. My fiance was a Catholic and man talk about GUILT and self-defeating thoughts. I hate any Christian religion now, I won' hide it. I'm not a bad guy and am actually probably too kind to everyone, and it seems to get me in trouble (or I am kind to the wrong people?).

I could really use help from anyone here who could help me manifest a new job ASAP. It's that bad.

Part of you does not want the jobs.

Briefly grab paper and pen. Then start asking questions to yourself.
You'll be amazed at the answers you get.
Parts of you don't believe what other parts of you believe.

Here's the simple part.
When you find negative beliefs, state I HAVE THIS BELIEF........AND I NOW REMOVE IT BECAUSE IT IS LIMITING. I REPLACE IT WITH........

Keep doing this until your inner dialogue matches up.
(and always do updates to make sure your beliefs are the way you want them, and not the multi-nationals and their consume-and-destroy-the-planet.)

It gets easier and easier as you do it.
Start with highest priority ones, (work) and then later go down the list.
Give yourself slack and lots time to work thru your beliefs.

I'm not going to say the usual intention-manifestation related answer, and really I can't even give you an answer. You're the only one that can come up with a solution. And believe that, you CAN come up with one. The important thing is to remain positive......believe me, I was homeless not too long ago (and have been several times), and some friends took me in.

I still have no car, no internet connection, and no place of my own, but I wake up with a smile, walk to the library so I can work on my site, and hopefully make a better life for my family.

I apologize for going into my life; it's not always best to respond to someone else's problems with problems of your own, but I'm trying to illustrate that just because these things are happening, you WILL continue to live. So then, the quality of that life, is up to you.

If you can keep a smile while life's knocking your teeth out, then you're in a good place.

Good luck friend, and really, try this Law of Attraction stuff with every ounce of your being. You'll be surprised. Oh, and I'll be sure to send some positive energy your way.

Oh, one more thing (hehe, I'm a bit longwinded today), you could try the simple method as in "My Name is Earl" (wonderful show), and just do good things for people, and then the only logical result to expect would be good things to you.

Boy, you do sound like you have a lot to deal with.. I'm going to quote some Abraham stuff since that's what I'm currently studying..

Sounds like you have some emotional journey's to complete with your past from the way you posted..

Let's see if I were in your shoes.. and I wanted a job.. we'll I would be working on manifesting that yah.. I would also be asking myself why I was no longer a Christian because faith in god per the Abraham system is belief in your "inner being" (though please don't get me wrong.. I'm very anti-christian but I'm just saying again sounds like some sorting out you need to do)
According to Abraham beliefs (this is logical too) just changing your surroundings does not fix your events.. they suggest changing your vibration (could be another word for outlook on life)

Anyway, in real world terms let me offer you some advice since I'm in your field.. since you may be desperate for cash let me suggest if you want to do something relational to computers and your having trouble with that job search..

You could try computerrepair.com (I usually never bother to work for e'm.. too cheap) but they get contracted work from compusa etc. and bound to always have consistent jobs in your area..

I do quite a bit of work for a company called Installs you could see if you could get contract work for them.. and craigslist is the new cheap and "marketed" friend of all persons online meaning.. it'd be a great way for you to advertise services for locals and bring in cash if your again waiting on that job..

Lastly, since I'm also in the DC business I know that Texas is a major hub for traffic and in need of computer personal (though more likely cisco engineers, linux based, hardware monkeys etc. ) you could try the webhostingtalk.com forums for job postings in the data center business

These are just suggestions however.. if your very serious about wanting that job you may be best to stay focused on that however (since I work for myself.. I can only give my relational experience )

I wish you the very best Shawn. It's obvious you've had an exceptionally rough time and I can relate as I've been there myself. My advice is read everything you can in this forum and derive inspiration from it. Keep telling yourself that you are worthy and that you have a lot to offer. Don't ever let any situation or any person ever make you feel so worthless and hopeless that you consider suicide.
