Excellent, thanks for corroborating! I especially like that I can summon it by will once I get into the right state, as I now have firm reason to cultivate it.

Have you felt the energy in your head yet? By "head", I mean the whole entire physical head from neck upwards, not "head" in the sense of "mind" or "brain".

iSteven wouldn't be without iPod

Attaching a compiled soundtrack to goals is my way to go :-)
I love music, and there are many songs that lift me up and out.

Whenever I hear a specific track it puts me in state, and strong love emotions are linked to the goal.

I understand the ENGLAND RUGBY TEAM that won the World Cup, played the Heather Small track PROUD before every game to get in state.

I would also advocate moments of quiet stillness though :-)

I'll have to pay more attention next time, but I do notice my face gets the tingling.

IFrog has his fave tunes, and also listens to music of a sort when meditating.

Missing out on the TINGLING, but then again, I didn't EXPECT!
Perhaps in future I will experience it, now that you have tickled my RAM!

The MUSIC really gets me pumped. Almost to the point where I think I am about to explode! Am I getting close to an outer body experience?

It would be good to get out more!

I wasn't really expecting it either, but then I have been pretty diligent with my meditation for the better part of the past year It reinforces my growing belief that IM must be based on a feedback loop...

I don't think I'll be OOBEing though, not ready for that.

If an intention visualization can be held long enough and strongly enough, and is sufficiently "energized", can/will that thwart any self-sabotaging elements that might be lurking under the surface?

Yes I think so. But often it would be akin to using brute force to break down a door.

If you can identify the self-sabotage elements and address those directly, then by analogy you would just be spotting the doorknob and turning it, to make the door open.

Am I well served to work at a visualization even if it gets fuzzy or drifts or becomes a bit hard to 'see'? To put it another way, can I be as effective simply making a clear, precise narrative of what I'm intending to visualize?

I was surprised at how strong an impact did a single book have on me, a book that was for free and came from "nowhere" at a point in my life when I was ready to receive its message.

The most important things are simple after all, and we tend to forget this, being lost in analyzations and inner mind-conflicts.
(If anyone is interested, the book is here Books on Love by Klaus Joehle. Free download)
Living On Love is my favorite LOA book.He gives everything away on the website for free.I have the book, got it from amazon, but all his taped meditations are there for the taking.Try it out.
