Default More than one dominant thought?

By the fascinating teachings of Abraham in "Ask and it is Given" they state that
Quote:
"When you repeatedly return to a pure thought, maintaining it for at least 68 seconds, in a short period of time (hours in some cases or a few days in others), that thought becomes a dominant thought. And once you achieve a dominant thought, you will experience matching manifestations until you change it"
By this, would you think its possible to have more than one dominant thought?

Yes, of course! Imagine that mind which would have only one! Imagine that level of control and mastery!!! Wow! Try holding the thought, any thought for 17 second!!! as a pure thought!

One of my favorite lines from abraham and it's paraphrased cause I can't remember it exactly is..

"68 seconds of pure thought is worth over 10,000 man hours"

The syntax is important, "A dominant though" VS. "the dominant thought". I'm sure we have some of the former and one of the latter. A good question to ask oneself may be "What is my 1 dominant thought?"

Sometimes your most dominant thought is being thought at such a deeply unconscious level that you don't even recognize it as a "thought." It looks more like "reality" to you. If you ever find yourself thinking, "....and that's just the way it is," you've just skimmed and dismissed a habitual, unconscious dominant thought.

Another clue is if you get upset when someone challenges a thought -- if you find yourself feeling defensive or angry or irritated or uncomfortable when someone says, "Well, that's not true." That's an X that marks the spot -- a good place to start digging for treasure.

Only one by one, not couple at the same time.
