Hello All, I just finished one of Steve's articles, "Shifting Your Vibration To Manifest Your Desires" and really enjoyed this article. The information was exactly what I needed to hear (funny how that happens I do really great in raising my vibration most of the time, but here's my weak point... I started a business 2 years ago. This business came to be from doing something I love, which has been awesome for me. However, I am still in my "in a cage running on a wheel job" until my business makes enough to where I can cut back and/or quit all together. I am aiming for the business to be prosperous enough that I can quit my current job. This plan will also free up some time for me...the time I am looking for to pursue the other goals/projects I have at the moment. My question is, how can I keep my vibration high enough while I am at work and not crash? When I am at work, I try to keep myself focused on providing the best service to people, but this only get's me so far. It doesn't help that no one I work with believes in IM/LOA, which makes me feel very alone there. I try to remind myself every day that the current job isn't going to last forever and I will be moving on very soon - but I've been telling myself that for way too long now. I suppose that if I was able to keep my vibration high enough while I was there, I would attract less lower vibration people/situations and therefore have a better day, but when I'm seemingly the only one there trying, it get's kind of frustrating and is sometimes easier to "run with the crowd." I feel sometimes my progress is a little slow because I've had a some bumps along the way because of old negative beliefs I've had to change/overcome. Above all, I am trying to have fun with all this, because I know creating my ideal life should be fun! Any suggestions? |

Every action that you do in your current "job", no matter how tedious, realize how it helps your dream/love business. Anything from meaningless but "necessary" paperwork, to watercooler b.s politics chatting to parking your car in that big brown building: really feel, without reaching, how it's bringing you the ability to do the specific actions that you love in the business that you will do in the very near future. Use your imagination in these actions. Report xyz? Memo abc? Writing these up, bring a tidbit or more of your creativeness that you will use in the business of your dreams. Daily meeting? Realize how these employees can help contribute or invest in your business. Realize how these employees, even if they themselves will not willingly give of themselves to your business, maybe friends of them will. Realize that it's a very small world, and bring a glimmer of that passion you have for your new business into your conversations with these people, perhaps helping them realize their own dreams. Whenever you help others realize their own dreams, whenever you help others remove their own limiting beliefs... at the same time, inevitably you will be removing your own barriers, helping yourself and the greater good in an ever smoother fashion. |

Wow, this is really great advice. I never thought about practicing that different thought pattern while at the job. Now I don't dread so much going back to work tomorrow... And yes, it is definitely important to remember that the "work" I do there will carry over into my own business. I guess I had been viewing the two as totally separate because one I love doing; the other, not so much. Thanks for opening my consciousness up to a new perspective, love that. Thanks! |

Click your amygdala forward. This is from Neil Slade. His credibility is questioned by a few but the work he sites is that of TDA Lingo. I stumbled upon his work by accident while researching the pre-frontal cortex and amygdala. Neil Slade Amygdala Chart |

If you've gotten to the big step of everything is you.. then I would tell you look neutral or positively on your work experience as a learning experience.. whether you learn about strengthening your LOA beliefs or whatever.. I would look on it as fun.. to experiment on your co-workers which is experimenting on you.. and creating a fun, contrasting environment that you like.. your imagination tells you can do this.. so just do it.. if you like Your job, your doing doesn't have to suck.. cause everyone tells you it sucks.. (belief) or complains about work.. it can be whatever you want it to be.. I would push the limit.. and take control of my reality.. by getting my preferences out there.. and smiling on synchronicity.. this is what I'd do if I were in your situation.. which technically I am As for raising your vibration.. hmm.. best places to raise vibration honestly, least for me and maybe a lot of people (per my teacher) is.. in the car.. (turn on or off the music.. depends on if you can let go) and in the shower.. I also when I study LOA material or even engage here.. raise my vibration I believe.. so those are normal ways.. I think it's also possible to push it up via meditation.. | |

Thank you all for the wonderful advice. After being at work the past couple of days and practicing some new things, I feel I should take some time to do some more inner work. I feel like I am lacking in this area, and by taking that time, it would help me raise my vibration more, and maintain it longer. After all, I am responsible for what happens in my life, and by taking responsibility I can move up up up. I have the next fews days off for Memorial weekend, so I am going to do some inner work and see where I go from there. I just have to take my time with the process and enjoy it, and not OD on exercies/visualizations etc, like I tend to do. I get so excited sometimes to practice new things that I go crazy with it and then burn out and end up having to start over. But it's all part of the learning process. Thanks all! |
