Default So I guess this is the law of attraction?

How do you explain this...

I had a certain goal, I wrote it down on paper, that goal become more and more unrealistic, I felt bad about writing it down cause I thought one day it would remind me of my failure, so I through away the paper and gave up on it.
Then things turned around and I finally achieved that goal.

Other times, I try to save money doing something and it just dosen't work. When I'm in that situation again I say **** it try not to aim for the best out come and just go with the flow and everything works out.

Even when dealing with people, the people I don't want to talk to, end up having to talk to, and the people I do, I usually stay away from.

This isn't just mind games, it seems like the more you want something in life, the more you're working against, but when you just give up and "let the chips fall where they may" it just seems like you're encountering less resistance.

Thoughts?

I think it is because we cannot see the "big picture" as to how things relate to each other.

Who knows...having a flat tire may be necessary to bring you and your desire closer together.

Seemingly random events like a flat tire are in actuality "universal footpaths" that are the way to your desires.

You just don't know and that is what makes vacationing on this physical plane so much freaking fun!

I'm not really a LOA person but it sounds to me like you are used to your plans not working out, so that when you make them, you expect them not to happen, creating that resistance you mention. So they don't happen. Is that possible?

Whether a goal is 'realistic' or not really just depends on how much confidence you have in yourself to make it happen, no?

For a long time, because of my poor track record with goals, I viewed goals not as things I wanted, but as things I wanted and did not expect to get. Of course I didn't realize that's how I was viewing my goals at the time, but now that I'm used to accomplishing goals, I find that every goal I have is realistic.

I wouldn't call this LOA

However, its possible its part of it.

When you have your goals you wish for it to happen. You dont see yourself have it. While having these goals you also focus hard on the things you DON'T want. Like meeting the wrong people and such.

LOA is neither good nor bad, it just does what you ask. And if you focus on bad things, bad things will happen.

When you just relax and "go with the flow" you don't worry anymore, and I think that is the biggest plus you can have in life.
When you're not worried, you're not as open to negative influence as you are when being worried. Obviously.

Ever since I started practicing NOT worrying. Just.. follow my gut, forget about time and deadlines, forget about outside pressures, forget about anything that could cause stress and negativity. I just feel so much better, and life is just throwing opportunities in my lap almost daily.

People think I'm crazy because if they were in my situation they'd be miserable. No source of income, nothing. Piss poor with family issues and what not. But you know what? I'm not worried. I'm happy.

Don't stop making goals, infact make more of them. But stop worrying.
Think; I'm gonna have -this- in three months.
Believe; I'm gonna have -this- in three months. (Setting a specific date makes it easier, otherwise you'll just keep thinking 3months and those 3months will never end!)

Morning and night, sincerely believe you'll have whatever it is you want in 3months. And you will automatically start doing the right things to make it happen. It's psychology, some say Universal Energy. Believe what you want. It works miracles!

But the second you start doubting yourself, you'll start attract negative influences, you'll focus on the bad things. And thus, ruin the whole thing.

Don't worry, be happy.
