I had an idea, how motivating would it be if you had someone also using IM to improve their life, and they phoned eachother up each day so saying so how was your IM today, what have you manifested lately? What have you done today towards your goals? Etc, then since you know someone is going to be asking you, you might put more effort in to be able to tell them you did and achieved more. And also to encourage eachother and remind eachother how much they have already achieved & don't give up, you can do anything etc. I think something like that would be powerful (only if both were positive people!) Ofcourse you would need to live near eachother for phone charge costs I guess |

WordKeeper, you'd probably want to look at their website to get the best information -- but it's not the easiest site to suss out, unfortunately! Basically, though, any skype caller can call any other skype caller through their computers for free. They also have subscriptions where you can call landlines and cell phones at a very low rate. The subscription I use is $3 per month, and I will probably upgrade that this week to their unlimited world plan, which is around $5 or $6 a month. (It's not actually the whole world, but it includes all of the countries that I expect to be calling.) They have all kinds of equipment you can buy for other purposes, too, but you don't have to buy any of it to use the free service. |

so who would be interested in doing it? Using skype to contact eachother each day and check up on eachother? Basically checking off our daily goals, manifestations etc to eachother. & if someone is having a problem everyone can brainstorm & fix it there & then. Could do a "30 day trial" or something & at the end see if our results & lives are improved from it...

I have a suggestion. Why not start by meeting here. It can be done in a couple of ways - either at a specific time or simply plan on daily posts. I am involved in an online game called Erepublik. The game basically centers around 3 areas - politics, work/economy and army/wars. The political party I joined has monthly meetings where you log into a website and everone there can communicate in live time. Perhaps we could do something like that. The advantage of starting out by posting here is that it would be a good way to draw interested posters, at least up to a certain number that would work logistically. |

yes i just thought about that actually, posting in the forum. Thank you for the idea with that game, I wouldn't mind doing that if its a fast, easy way to communicate. if you had someone phoning you up, i think anyway, it would be more convenient and something you can't avoid. If you are expected to blog in this forum at a certain time, it would be easier to forget or not post if you didn't do what you said you would, unless you become more discplined. But yes posting on here is better than nothing, Like how I have seen some people proclaim their intention to do a 30-day trial and post in the forum each day to say how it goes. I would say the more face to face the contact is, the more accountable you would feel. For example, you are going to manifest or work to create more money or income in your life. If people in a forum were expecting your progress updates every day, how accountable would you feel? If someone rang you up each day and asked what your progress was, how accountable would you feel? If someone came over to your house each day to see how your progress is going, how accountable would you feel? See what I mean? I guess the last one isn't very convenient, neither is the 2nd option. Unless there is some way you could have a skype meeting or an online meeting, maybe like a mastermind group, but every person gets checked on their progress/daily goals. Something like that |

Skype is a great way to talk with multiple people at the same time, and I usually have video chats with people I know on skype, it is a great software. It would be really cool to support each other and if you do decide to go for it, I am in |

Well there is definitely momentum. Time to make this happen and not let the moment pass. I have never used Skype but I will make an effort to figure it out and get on line. I notice that those of us interested are spread all over the world. Let's sort out timelines that would work. I am on Central Daylight Time and at this time I can connect between 9am and 12am (midnight) on many days. What about times and days for everyone else? |

Hi I'm happy to fit in, whatever time is decided! I definitely prefer a more 'real' communication to anonymous posting. I've just got to learn how to use Skype! It ocurred to me that a slightly different set of people might be interested in this, as some people seem much more comfortable with simply posting. British Summer Time at the moment (GMT+1), but as I keep peculiar hours, it doesn't really matter! unless the neighbours complain, in which case I'd have to move the computer to another room. So I suppose I slightly prefer 'Civilised hours' Martyn Last edited by Martyn13; 05-19-2009 at 10:47 PM. |
