I submitted a request today via that form for Oprah to do a show on blogging and how it empowers individuals with a message to build audiences via word of mouth, bypassing the gatekeepers of traditional media. Maybe that's a story that will interest her producers. I've seen maybe 2 episodes of her show in my entire life, so I've no idea if she's already done one like that. Might be too geeky for her.

A few hours after I sent in the show suggestion, I noticed that my Alexa rank passed Oprah.com for the first time ever (Oprah.com is at 2543, StevePavlina.com is at 2520).

If that's a sign, what the heck does it mean?

Maybe it means you should invite Oprah to write a little something for your blog. You know, help her out a little with some publicity so she can get some more viewers.

Doesn't Oprah have something like a billion viewers? My web traffic would have to increase another 1000-fold to reach her level. And that would mean I'd be drawing more traffic than Google.

lol... actually it wouldn't surprise me if she got more of those visitors. Aside from SEO experts, I don't know many people who'd even want the Alexa toolbar. I've never had it installed. I figured it was something people got suckered into installing somehow.

Steve and Erin, I hope you both appear on Oprah. It would be great because:

* People could discover the joys of blogging and make a living at it. Sure competition would increase, but there's enough for everyone. Every writer has a different audience and message. Money is created by people and it will never run out. There is enough for all.

* People would wake up and discover their purpose and be happier

* People would explore veganism

* People would become more opened minded towards subjective reality and especially psychic phenomena

* Traffic would increase and we would get more supporters of personal growth in the forums.

* Personally, I could meet more people in Boston who are dedicated to personal growth, and develop a mastermind group. Who know's? Maybe I could meet my future spouse this way

I see all of this as a great thing. So what are going to wear when you appear on national television?

I hope I get on there! Wouldn't that be awesome. I had one of the coolest Law of Attraction stories happen to me today.....definitely proving to me once and for all that the LOA is very real.....I'm still shaking my head.

I think it's scheduled to air January 31st, 2007. Pretty soon. I personally thought it would take longer than that to put a show together, but that's just me, and we are talking about the OPRAH show, after-all.
