| I've tried listening to some of the "Seth" material (Jane Roberts) But it's quite expansive stuff and either very smart or very bs.. I've read the wikipedia on it but doesn't seem to cover it all.. any one got a cliff notes version of what Seth's teaching basically where? |

| A friend of mine just lent me her book. I'm barely into chapter 7 and very confused. I can only read half a session at a time before my mind is blubbering and I have to stop reading so I can try to wrap my mind around the ideas. Some of them I can believe in. Some of them I gape and think "Yeah right as if". A quick google search revealed nothing but sales pitches for the material. I found this blog posting some quotes of the Seth Material. This is from Seth Speaks (the book I'm reading) about Jesus. Yahoo! 360° - Wingin'it - Christ was not crucified I'm not Christian, but I found it very interesting to read. |

| Regarding the "Christ was not crucified" posting: proof, please? Where does this evidence come from? Is this mere conjecture without any basis in fact? (I suspect it is). Maybe I just don't get it, but there seems to be no reason for this article other than a weak attempt to tear down the most fundamental tenets of Christianity. IMO that article is pretty far out there and pretty offensive to anyone who is Christian (myself included). (BTW, this is all directed at "Seth", not you, asrai).

| Regarding the notion that "Christ was crucified": proof, please? Where does this evidence come from? Is this mere conjecture without any basis in fact? I'm sorry, don't argue with me on this, I just thought it was a funny reply. So anyway, Seth being non-physical and all, he probably has access to a detailed history of our planet (Akashic Records, was it?), ergo he's much more likely to be accurate on these sorts of things than the way we physical folk managed to keep track of our history. Yes indeedy, for my argument to make any sense, you need to accept the idea that Seth was non-physical, and not misrepresenting himself or lying to us. |

| Here is the "cliff notes" I found. I actually enjoyed it a lot. It's about all of "Seth" I can take. Seth Quotes Chap.18 As far as that bit about Christ not being crucified. The energy of those words seems very odd to me. After reading this incredible link Are You Seeking the Light or Just Dancing with the Dark?* A Guide to Spiritual Discernment by Peter Newton... I'm not convinced now that just because they are "spirit" they know everything. I personally find that part about "Christ not being crucified" bogus. His energy and knowledge seems to be that of a physical person, therefore I regard those thoughts as I would any man/womans....an opinion.
