I have heard of people who say theyve tried everything but it hasnt worked and then someone will say its because they must have a very deep, hidden subconscious block. How do you know if you have one of these? (Bearing in mind im not very good (yet at meditation to gain such insignts)

If you want something in your life to change, but you are not changing, then you can be quite sure that your subconscious choices are not aligned with your conscious choices. I guess you could call that a "block." And if you believe you have "tried everything" then I would say with 100% certainty that you are blocked. The blockage is: you believe there is nothing else to try. And that's how people get blocked, stuck, and dead. |

If you are trying to attain something (not necessarily a thing) but are unable to you are likely blocked or infringing on another persons will. Of course if you are unable to even pull off the "blue feather" thing or some other small thing it could be your skill level. The key is to keep trying and when you get no results or undesired results you ask questions. I've found that the answers always come, my part is to ask the right question and listen/look for the answer. |

I would start by replacing the word "universe" with "unconscious mind" -- "Unconscious Mind, I would like to find a solution to the problem of xyz. Would you please help me out here?" When you get your clue, say, "Thank you, Unconscious Mind! Is there anything else that's important for me to know?" And if you remain clueless, just keep practicing rapport. Just keep asking, "Unconscious Mind, what's important for me to know here?" and "What emotion am I feeling?" and "What emotion am I feeling now?" and "Okay, great. How about now?" And notice where that emotion is in your body -- what you feel, where you feel it, what is the size, shape, color, and weight of the emotion. Now, what does your unconscious mind present you with? What images, sounds, or feelings? Whatever representations your unconscious mind presents you with, that is your clue. People are not clueless; they just sometimes forget how to recognize the rich abundance of clues that is available to them, within.

| I'm being a bit facetious with that word; it's shorthand for "I don't know Who or What is out there listening to me, but I know there must be Something greater (and if that Something greater has my best interest in 'heart', I wish It would share already) [sigh]".

I've had a somewhat sheltered life, mostly by choice, so in many ways I feel like I 'don't know what I don't know'. Nobody on the outside has been able to solve the puzzle of me (not surprised, given what I've learned since), so now I've reached a dead-end of sorts and I'm looking/hoping within for the new path.

I used to know and even be quite friendly with my 'inner voice' as a child, if that makes sense; I wonder what triggered the block? BTW, glad you're online, otherwise I'd be stuck learning things like what "grotty" means

| You trained yourself. Some things are just really difficult to face consciously, so you squashed them down into storage. Once in awhile, your unconscious mind presents to you an unresolved, squashed-down emotion to deal with, and you either deal with it or you squash it down again. I think you are at a point in your life where you know, consciously and unconsciously, that you're ready to resolve some old stuff -- and now it's just a matter of tuning in -- paying attention. What comes up? Pay attention. You may find the trigger you're wondering about, and you may not, but either way it means that you are processing and understanding and rearranging at an unconscious level -- in other words, you're getting wiser. You might not feel so wise at a conscious level, but don't worry; everything is taking brilliant shape within you and you will begin to notice the results of that. It's fun, isn't it? |

If you aren't - umm, mostly brief moments until now... Just a short while ago I cleaned up a spraying mess my cat made; then I noticed a saying on the last paper towel I used - "You can bury a lot of troubles digging in the dirt" Last edited by Wax Frog; 04-04-2009 at 05:27 AM.

| Not near as grotty as John Crotty! Thanks to Pyrogen, I'm getting a 'brain massage' to something that sounds a bit like "Wendy caught a mule" Last edited by Wax Frog; 04-04-2009 at 05:36 AM. |

Yesterday, a friend made a comment that was such an enlightenment to me I cried for an hour.... What a relief. This brought about the most significant change in my acceptance of myself that I have ever felt. -- But, I didn't cause it. I wouldn't have known how to bring it about. I didn't even know that I needed it. What I have been doing is increasing my meditations from one to two hours a day to three hours a day. And, this was because I thought I had a block, but I didn't understand how significantly that the block was me.

However, my understanding of meditation is quiet time, quiet time to listen to your tru self, higher self or unconscious and to quiet the ego. Or, it might be quiet time to impress your unconscious with a preferred idea. Gerald O'donnell teaches remote viewing, and I work with that. Silva also trains in using it to impress or question or to heal. I sit comfortably. If I'm at home, I sit on a pillow. Otherwise, if I'm in the car, I put the seat back. I close my eyes. And, then, I am quiet. I try to listen in the spaces between intake or outgo of breath. Sometimes I visualize/imagine breathing different colors. Different colors affect different chakras. Some colors are healing. I don't have much time to sleep at night, and

That's really interesting Angela, lately I've been replacing "unconscious mind" with "higher self"! I've always operated at working of the level of unconscious mind before, getting my answers from muscle testing for 'yes and no'. However I've found my unconscious mind can be contradictory, seeings as that's where all the blocks are, My higher self has more wisdom and a better overview and gives better more consistent answers. I know to some this in semantics, but for me this switch to working through my higher self, is really working! (I've started the soul realignment training which is where I learned this).

I'm on lesson 3 (there's 10 lessons). So far I love it! Accessing the Akashic records was easier that I thought it would be. (I'd long held beliefs that I wasn't 'special enough' or 'spiritual enough' to do that kind of work). However it is harder than you think! The way you learn is to learn a bit about the soul, then do that section of the reading for each of your practise clients. I find I have to take lots of breaks between readings at the moment to recharge my batteries. I think it should get easier. Have you had a soul realignment reading? Anna identified and cleared several blocks in that reading for me which I think has really helped. Sorry just realised I've hijacked this thread. - PM me or start a new one if you want more info |

I agree on the first one, and haven't advanced enough for the second, so while I do prefer to sit up with my legs crossed, I could do without the stiffness. Quote:

Purple, would be for the third eye in my lexicon of colors. White is above, crown chakra, for higher power. Aqua or blue green at the throat chakra for speech, speaking up for oneself, or speaking the truth. Below throat, is chest/heart chakra. It's color is green. For years, this one made me cry. Belly is yellow, and solarplexis or source of strength. Below belly, reproduction chakra is orange. Below and behind at base of spine is life chakra, red. And, that's all I know, folks.

I know because I actually did that. I really mean I was able to do that it's a very strong moment when it suceed. No doubt if it happened or not. Try to look on your motivations in the moment. Why am I doing what I do NOW? what's my motivation? why I'm trying to achive it in this way? what I want? why I want it? Am I absolutely sure if I get what I want I'll be happy? Is it absolute certainity that THAT THING is the ONLY thing that is between me and happiness? Is it sure that my wish is not just an EXCUSE to run away from happiness? If it is really my only one obstacle to be happy, why I'm not doing EVERYTHING I'm phisically able to do to get it? (the bold sentence is the one that woke ME up) if you became confused by at least one of those questions, think about it. Isn't it insane to be unhappy when you are actually not really sure about it?
